    Tiny rooms, not very clean

    Very tiny rooms, stains on the carpet, dirty bathroom and a ridiculous shared balcony with adjoining room. Who wants to share the balcony with complete strangers, very odd idea ? Tiny Bar is just an extension of the Reception area, just all a bit rubbish. Breakfast ok. Staff helpful

    Within a short walk of the TGV station. The hotel and our bedroom was very clean with comfortable bed and ensuite bathroom. The room was a little on the small side but it is a city centre hotel and it was still ideal for our services. Excellent breakfast but with our deal it was at a small extra cost.The staff we dealt with were very courteous and dealt with any request quickly from suggest several places to eat from advising a quick walk after a day travel.

    Tiny hotel and rooms and poor service

    I was booked in here with a group male friends and the hotel had booked us in to double rooms (i.e. two grown men sharing a double bed!) instead of twin rooms. After requesting a change of rooms, they were very unhelpful and did not offer any alternative solutions. To make matters worse, the hotel itself and the rooms are tiny, the lift only just fits two people and the double beds were also barely bigger than a single. The rooms are air conditioned, but you can only change the temperature by phoning reception! There are also great views of the railway, which runs right behind the hotel!Others from our group stayed, but I booked in to a 2* hotel not far away that was much more modern, had larger rooms, air conditioning that you could alter yourself and friendly welcoming staff.If you are planning a stay here, then I would strongly advise booking somewhere else.

    Comfortable stay near Part Dieu station (TGV)

    Comfortable and clean room and bathroom. A bit small, as was the elevator. Good airco and coffee/tea making facilities. Supermarket nearby. Friendly and helpful staff. Metro and Part Dieu TGV station approximately 10 mins walk.

    We spent just one night in this hotel and though the room was very small it was spotlessly clean. The receptionist, Rosalie, was charming, welcoming and helpful. She recommended a great restaurant, served drinks for us and lent us an adapter for the mobile. She is a great asset for this hotel. The breakfast was fantastic....the best scrambled eggs ever! It is a 5 minute walk from the station and there is a great eating area a short distance away with many restaurants to choose from.
