  This is a motel not a hotel

  Not sure what to say that complements this establishment. We arrived to find the restaurant was closed until the beginning of September, whilst this was posted on our booking platform no notification was sent individually. We were advised to go next door, this was also closed. We did finally find somewhere. The rooms are set out in a motel style block arrangement, our bathroom was for those that know, had been uplifted from Brittany ferries. The room looked out into the trash area, separated by the prison style fencing that is the prodominant feature of this place, giving it the overall impression of a prison camp. The smell at breakfast was of an overflowing toilet and very unpleasant. The breakfast was ok, would I come here again, definitely not, true it's cheap but for very good reasons.

  Hotelroom was tiny but clean. Nice bed and good shower. Aircondition present in the room aswell as a tv. Secuired parkingspace and next to the hotel is a restaurant. Staff were very friendly. We recommend this for a sleepover of one night. Tumbs up!

  Stayed here last week whilst at the euros. On the plus side the hotel is cheap and offers a decent buffet breakfast . However it is very far from the centre of Lyon which takes 45 minutes by train and by bus . It is a €60 taxi ride from the airport.   Cheap but clean and available when Lyon was booked up!

  Visited for three days during Euro 2016. OK for a group of lads but one wouldn't bring the missus! No point in drawing attention to the shortcomings. Let's just say it was as cheap as chips, and for good reason. It's difficult to get to - 20 mins by taxi from Lyon station. Everything is basic and small... no - tiny - like living in a box! But on the plus side: there is secure parking, the hotel was clean, the shower worked, the breakfast was edible, there's a bar, and the staff were friendly and helpful. If you want an evening meal, there's a steak house next door.   Fine for one night only. Extremely difficult to find as there is a Rue Maryse Bastie in Lyon, where we thought this hotel was when we booked but it is actually in Bron and not Lyon, this wasn't made clear on the site we booked the hotel. We arrived early evening but no restaurant in the hotel or vicinity was open or just closing. Ensuite bathroom is tiny but I suppose adequate. The room absolutely reeked of smoke....air conditioning was a bonus as was price. , Directeur général at Brit Hotel Lyon Eurexpo, responded to this review Hello,Our hotel is located at Bron, 20 minutes from Lyon. You can easily get to Lyon by using our public transportation. We dont have a restaurant at our hotel, but we do dispose of a bar with little snacks like chips.
