    Room could do with an update, is worn (paint etc.)Although they advertize that they are open for dinner every night, on my visit the restaurant was closed, disappointing as usual I enjoy having dinner at the Campanile hotels Audrey NGUYEN, General Manager at Campanile Lyon Nord - Dardilly, responded to this review Dear Guest,We Thank you for you visit and your review.Our restaurant is only open from Monday until Thuesday and we are sorry for the confusion.We have done our utmost to make your stay nice and confortable and we do hope to see you again.Best regards,Farah M La Réception

    Stayed here overnight 8/9/21.place was a mess .our room was dark/smelled of dogs.the bathroom seemed ok until you looked at the shower it was nasty.contradiction to the new sink and taps! If it wasn’t for the fact that we had been driving since 5am and it was now 7pm and we were fit to drop we would have left there and then.on inspection the bedding was clean (didn’t dare look at the mattress) and the towels were clean so we decided to sleep there.don’t stay here.yes it’s a budget/basic hotel BUT it isn’t clean….especially as covid is still with us I had to wipe down every surface before we touched it.actually it wasn’t really budget it cost us £100 comparable to the price we would pay at an English premier inn…..no comparison !Avoid like the plague.     Usually at Campanile hotels there are cofee and tea bags to prepare an hot drink during your stay, which is a good attention.     We tried 3 rooms before we gave up and settled for one with dodgy aircon and broken power sockets.The first one was flooded, the second only had one working light.Staff seemed surprised we didn't settle for the second one.The whole place is in dire need of a spruce up.Still, the beds were clean and the evening meal tasty and reasonably priced.At 40 odd Euros it wasn't awful by any means, just tired and dingy.Will choose the Ibis next time though.

    Clean, comfortable bed. Room smelled of cheap disinfectant, but was clean. Air con on it's last legs, not great in temperatures of 35 degrees. Secure parking. Breakfast available at €9.50 per person, we didn't bother! It did more or less what it said on the tin.
