    As soon as you open the window there are mosquitos in the room. But the air condition is not working before May. So it is too hot to sleep in the room with the closed window.

    Beautiful hotel in beautiful surroundings, calm and quiet. Nice rooms, lovely bar, excellent restaurant.Nice gardens including pool.However the service concept needs improvement for a 4 star hotel. Service is by far not sufficient for such a place.     Honestly I had expected more from our stay. I hardly know where to start! But I can take it in dots, for the understanding: 1. we were met by a very cool receptionist, who was most interested in takin the deposit, then on welcoming us. And we did not recieve the code to the spa, on check in, we had to go and ask for it in reception on our way to the spa in our dressing gowns. This was aprrox 2 hours after check in..2. we were asigned a gudie to our room, who wuold telle us some of the history of the building. He was calles away after 4 min of our guidence, because of some emergency another pkace in the hotel. The hotel never got back to us with a follow up on that, witch would have been nice.... as the service was included. 3. We had dinner in the restaurant, I orderd fish of tha day, warning here dont do it. The trout I was served was far to fishy, and when I commenten on that I was just told that is is a fresh water fish!! I have been fishing as a hobby for years... not at good choice.4 there are a lot of big dogs staying at the hotel, they are with their owners at the breakfast table, and drooling, litrally. 5. we were too hot the first night of our stay with a winter double duve. So we asked politly if we could have some lighter beddng. They prensentet a cheat!!!! I can not recommend this hotel to any of my familiy or freinds, because I didnt find any kindness or any interest whatsoever for me or my daugter during our stay, not once did any of the staff speak to us, or even smile to us.

    My mother and I stayed here for 4 nights in the cell rooms. The hotel is fabulous. It is such a beautiful and relaxing space; the meals we had were fantastic. They have a beautiful restaurant that we ate at one night, and the bar menu has substantial meals if you fancy anything lighter. The breakfast with fresh orange juice, eggs and cheese was amazing. Beds were comfy and the rooms were immaculate. I really enjoyed swimming in the pool early in the morning, followed by a steam room.Would love to come back, thoroughly recommend.     A comfortable hotel and welcoming staff. The building and the rooms are beautiful. The food is fantastic and it is a wonderfully relaxing place to go back to after a long day walking round visiting Lyon.
