  The biggest scam we have been exposed to.Garden & City in NO way lived up to our expectations or what we had been promised in connection with booking.The pictures on Hotels.com and the accommodation's own website, as well as the description of the place, were exactly the opposite of what we experienced.First of all, the entire residential area was filthy. It was teeming with sloppy and shady people and we generally experienced a very uneasy atmosphere and didn't feel like moving around. Children were making noise in the street and no one paid attention. It was completely overgrown with weeds and bushes, and we could hardly find our way down to the house.The accommodation itself was very dirty. In the cupboards were dirty glasses with (what we could identify as) dried coke. The pots also had old food residue on them. The floor was dirty everywhere in the apartment and in general it didn't look like it had been cleaned before we arrived. The bed in the apartment was also much too small in relation to the fact that it was two adults who were supposed to be able to sleep in it.At the pool, according to pictures and descriptions on Hotels.com and on the accommodation's own website, there should be both sun loungers and parasols. None of these things were available. The pool area itself was also filthy, so it was not even possible to lay your towel on the ground. The few seats there were consisted of some old, worn plastic chairs. We brought this to the attention of the receptionist, but she just ignored our pointing out the shortcomings.We are super disappointed, because we specifically booked overnight stays here because, according to the pictures and descriptions, there should have been a pool and good opportunities for sunbathing. Just like we thought the place would be clean and welcoming.We already left the place less than 2 hours after arrival - this despite the fact that we had actually booked 3 nights.We asked the receptionist if we could leave the place early. We could do that, but without the possibility of getting a refund for the nights we did not use.We are extremely disappointed and unhappy with SUCH misleading pictures and descriptions. It is simply a matter of false marketing and peasant capture. Super bad style. We will never return and will not under any circumstances recommend the place to anyone. However I do not agree with all of your comment: The pool is exactly as described and there are sunloungers and parasols. maybe there were not available to you as the pool was really full all summer. As for the pool floor, we did clean it with a karsher so it cannot be as dirty as you describe.You talk about kids playing and making noise in the carpak. it is a family residence full of kids for summer who plya int he carpak. i am sossry if that made you feel unsafe but there are not much we can do. There are just kids...We strive to provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all our guests, and it is clear that we fell short in your case.   A spacious accommodation, clean and with towels and bed linings. A clean swimming pool. Loved to swim after a long day in the car. Friendly staff. Safe residence with fence and a man surveillance all night. A very nice stay!

  Our team was super satisfied with the accomodation and the staff.As we have been for work at the accomodation we could unfortunately not use all ammedities at the location.We do recoomend strongly!!

  Really poor internet connection.

  They should fix their poor adsl net because of it we need to buy sim cards. They have adsl with 300kb.s and 30% pack loss... Its far from high speed.. Its far from internet also. Its pretty far away from the city and the office is closed almost all day long.   We spend the night with our little childeren here, on our way back home from holidays. Advice to other families with childeren: Be warned, we didn't sleep at all !! There was plenty of noice disturbance. Other guests were having a party till 4 a.m. (laughing/ loud music/ shouting etc.) Nothing was done, because there isn't any night surveillance at all in this place. And guests can no longer reach anyone from the hotel after a certain hour. Considering that many guests are from foreign origin and have clearly different habits than the average european guest, staying here is quite a challenge. When I approached the receptionist about this the next morning, she simply told me that I could have called the police. She assured me that she was going to withhold a damage amount from the guests in question, because there were multiple complaints. Howhever no single form of compensation whatsoever has been proposed to us. Since I have been working in this industry for many years myself, I found this form of 'guest service' very inappropriate and unprofessional. Both me and the other guests who were displeased with this, felt left out in the cold.
