    Great hotel!

    We booked a family room which consisted of 2 rooms opposite each other at the end of the corridor with a door closing both off so we could move between rooms in private. Perfect set up for families. The smaller room had the double so our son took that and we had the bigger room with 2 singles. We were there for 6 nights and had a very comfortable stay. The only issues we found was that there was no milk on the welcome tray so I had to ask at the bar for milk whenever we wanted coffee/tea, also even though breakfast was until 9.30 not much choice left from 8.30 and lack of plates, bowls and glasses. Overall though a lovely stay and staff were very friendly and helpful.     Trying to be too many things and missing the mark

    When a hotel like this tries to be everything at once it often misses the mark along the way.If you’re attending an expo at the EuroExpo centre around the corner then this place has the obvious location benefits.Rooms are spacious and well equipped but sadly after that a lot about the experience needs work.Check in desk staff were often uninterested and unhelpful when required.Despite check out being at 11am both myself and my two colleagues were hounded by cleaning staff from 9:20am to leave the room so they can clean it. Breakfast is very low on selection when compared against other hotels at the same price and the evening meal service took 2 1/2 hours for just two courses (however excellent food quality) just way too slow on service from start to finish.The hotel advertises a gym facility however no dumbbells are present so the one broken cross trainer and a treadmill are a far reach from expectations for a 4 star hotel.Although I would consider staying again if an event required it, I don’t think it justifies the 4 star claim or price tag sadly.The games room has bowling alley and various other things like pinball etc. However most are broken so again this hotel tries too much and missies often.     Lovely hotel and staff, set your expectations on location.

    Read other reviews on pros and cons. Had a good idea on location of the hotel and were okay given our kids wanted a pool and gym. Was disappointed that we the gym had no fitness other than a treadmill and a yoga mat. Also laundry service was not available as that was another reason for our hotel selection. We managed to find a laundry place 13 mins away. Not bad. No traffic that is a big bonus. Grocery stores were near by. Hôtel had a sufficient activities for my tonnage boys. Like bowling, pool, snooker table and other gaming activities onsite. Staff are great, the gentlemen and restaurant manager is fantastic. We had drinks there while kids played. Didn’t dine there except for breakfast which is also good. Room is clean and very spacious. We had the 2 bedroom family suit it was perfect for family of 4. Free parking was a plus and we took Uber to Lyon city centre for sightseeing and dinning. Very convenient - love Uber service.     Odd location but great hotel!

    Our flight was diverted to Lyon & our airline put us up at The Gatsby. What a pleasant surprise! The location is very strange- on an Industrial Estate- but the hotel is quite lovely, and there is a boulangerie, a pizzeria, a cafe, a diner & a chemist all within walking distance. The staff were very accommodating despite having a hundred extra guests descend on them at 5am. They still produced an amazing breakfast for us all by 7.30am and made us very welcome. The amenities & facilities at this hotel are superb. Although it isn’t in town, I would stay again - especially if I had to catch a flight from Lyon airport, which is about 20 minutes away by car. This hotel is particularly good if you are travelling with kids as there is a bowling lane, a pool table, video games & a swimming pool. Highly recommended!     Hotel close to Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport

    Easy to access by a car and quite close to the airport. Friendly staff, especially the lady at the breakfast. Rooms could be cleaned more properly, lots of stains and dust, bathroom was properly cleaned. Also the breakfast was good for its price.
