    Hotel is at convenient location to explore the city by foot or to take public transport. Elegant historic building with many nice interior details. Adequate room size with spacios bathroom and effective air conditioning. At breakfast you can get everyting what you expect from the proper 4* hotel. The staff is so friendly and helpful that it deserves praise. When I needed to visit a pharmacy, they not only told me where the nearest one was, but even walked me a short distance down the street to show me the right direction. It might sound as cliché but nevertheless when next time in Lyon I won't look for anything else where to stay.

    An enjoyable few days in Lyon. The hotel is situated at the heart of the Presqu’île district between the Saone and Rhine. Ideally situated for access to the local attractions and the excellent Lyon transport network. The staff were helpful and efficient. Our room was very comfortable an d we got an upgrade on account of our Accor membership. The hotel offers breakfast and is close to lots of restaurants and bars. This will be our first choice for future visits.

    The hotel was originally built in the late 19th century and underwent a renovation just a few years ago. It does not have its own restaurant; however, breakfast is available for an additional fee and is very generous. A nice snd well stocked bar. Overall, service and housekeeping function well, and the reception staff are mostly proficient in English.There are, however, some shortcomings in the rooms. At present, the air conditioning is not operational, just overheats the room when left on. In addition, due to poor room design, storage space for guests’ clothing is very limited. While there are a few hangers in the wardrobe, there are no dressers and on ly 2 small shelves for other personal items. As a result, guests are largely forced to keep their belongings in their suitcases and retrieve clothing from them as needed.

    Stayed here for two nights including Christmas day in 2025. We had a family room which is two rooms next to each other with a separate front door, very spacious.The hotel is really well located, only a 5 minute walk from either of 2 metro stations, and right in the heart of the main shopping precinct.Hotel is a classic French building, and very clean and well maintained. All staff are very friendly and helpful with directions and suggestions for dinner etc.The bar area is cosy but a good place for a drink, and the breakfast on offer on Level 1 was outstanding.We were really happy with our stay here, we could walk everywhere, with plenty of eating choices nearby, plus several conveniences stores as well. Definitely a 5 of of 5.
