    My husband and I stayed at the Hotel de Paris in early August and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is in a trendy and convenient area, just a short walk from coffee shops, restaurants, the metro, and shopping. The staff was warm and welcoming, always ready to assist with our questions about the city and transportation.We really appreciated the spacious room, and the air conditioning was a blessing with temperatures soaring above 30°C.We highly recommend this hotel—great value for the money and an unbeatable location.

    This hotel is extremely well located , the staff is super helpful and kind .. room are clean , good size and well maintained!This hotel is défini a good choice to spend few days in Lyon , most of the place to visit are walking distance .Good value for money .I recommend this hotel

    When you travel you expect to be treated fairly and justly. This hotel did not. It started off ok but it was hot when we were there and there was no air conditioning in our room. Our room was on the street side and we either had to open a window and listen to loud noise or sweat. They did give me a broken fan and the next day when I complained they said that I should have asked for a better fan. BUT they knew the fan was defective as previous guests had stuffed paper into the neck to try to get the fan to stay upright. The staff said they would call the police to stop the noise after 10 but you cannot call enough police to hold down a crowd of noisy people. The staff promised me a better room the next day but then changed their mind (after I complained to Hotels.com) telling me that since I purchased a reduced fare through a discount site, that I would not get a better room. I decided to move to a better hotel since there were many in the area. Then the hotel would not give me a refund. I am out $275 SO here is my suggestion. There are many hotels in the area a lot better with a lot better customer service. Find a better one. Next, never book a hotel that does not say specifically that they will give a refund. Next, never pay at the hotel, pay through hotels.com. Next, if you book through a discount site, make sure the hotel has air conditioning in ALL rooms or you will get the worst room in the house.     Very bad experience ever Don't ever stay in this hotel.

    Very bad experience ever had dont ever stay there. Firstival checked in on 02/06/2022 had problem, hotel was said 3 stars but not the same you expected room very small not the same as the pictures or tell when I booked. I stayed in room number 52 is on a fifth floor room are has mold by all windows, bath room not clean, I did asked if I can change a room but they refused. I was checked out on 05/06/2022 and I was waited for taxi to be arrived 30 minutes no one said nothing then after 2 hours later at I am in the airport got surprised massage a hairdryer and tissue box in room was missing and hotel charge straight from my card €120 so after saw a massage and email with the invoice €120 , I tried to speak with reception he was hang up on me twice. Me and my daughter still fight to get money back.Anyway I had work with in hotel before we can't charged customers while they lelf a property only the customers still in hotel and can asked to open suitcase to check it.     Great central location, boutique hotel. Among the most popular bars and restaurants. Friendly staff. Situated between the Soane and the Rhone the Hotel de Paris is ideally close to Lyon Part Dieu Eurostar station too !
