  The room was totally unacceptable

  We chose the location because it was very close to the road we were travelling on and have used the Accor group for many many years. Upon arrival,there were not sufficient car parking spaces for the number of people staying at the hotel.The room was unacceptably bad. For a start, the entrance to it, resembled going into a dungeon, the carpet was disgustingly dirty as was the main hallway door. The room was very dark, the walls and carpet were dirty and stained. The bathroom was in a very poor state, scuffed paintwork, mould and stains. It was so bad I didn’t feel I could take a shower.. All in all a very poor nights sleep because I did not feel at all comfortable in my surroundings. I would say, however, that the reception staff were very pleasant and the breakfast was of a reasonable quality. In all the years that we have stayed with the group, we have never even come close to this type of experience and hope that it never happens again.   A very good experience

  We were greeted warmly and staff members were very helpful. The restaurant food was delicious and the service equally impressive. Although the bedrooms are not large, they have all you need and our walk-in shower was large. We took the last parking space due to the hotel being very busy so I recommend you arrive before 20.00. If you have mobility issues, ask for a room on the ground floor as the hotel does not have a lift. It is a well-run establishment and I would throughly recommend it for a one night stop-over.   Great value for money, room was tired but very clean. Other suites were three times the price of this hotel. Jacuzzi bath was very nice, english tv was available. Breakfast was buffet style with everything you would expect.

  It does what it says on the can. The rooms are basic and clean, beds comfortable. It has recently been re-decorated to the rather soulless Ibis style but better than the previous red and green colour scheme. The restaurant food is standard (try a glass of the Crozes Hermitage with cheese for desert... much better). Ask for a room away from the road on the quiet side. OK for stop over or the odd night on business. Plus is good free wifi.
