    Stayed here whilst travelling home from the Alps, we normally stay in Villefranche (which is a very nice town) and unfortunately the hotel we normally stay in was full so we had to stay here. Sadly this is a contender for one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in.The parking is in an extremely cramped underground car park and if you have a large car you will find it very difficult to park. When we arrived at reception rooms had not already been assigned to us and the receptionist took ages to check us in and give us our keys. The rooms are very small and the bathrooms are so small that you can barely move and certainly not reflective of the photos on the website. Given the price (nearly €100 a night) this was very disappointing. When we arrived for breakfast which was supposed to be available from 7am which we needed as we needed to leave for onward travel we found it was not ready and we needed to wait another 15 minutes for staff to have it prepared.Will definitely not be staying here again.     No one to welcome you at night, not even a watchman. We had booked a parking with them, we couldn’t use it as there was no instructions about it and no one to ask. Then we got to our rooms….. sheets hadn’t been changed from previous customers, and were full of hair. Truly disgusting. Bathroom had been boy one towel, and no soap or shampoo. Basically, avoid this place.     I give a summary:+ clean bed, floor and bathroom+ friendly staff+ quit at night (square at the back)+ good bed and pillows+ coffee and tea in the room+ check-in and -out quick and correct- small room, small bathroom, small everything- old furniture, old etc- things definitily need paint and a fix. - 85 euro (with garage, no breakfast), too expensive. +/- garage safe , but almost no space for middle Class car

    Stop on route to alps. Rude staff, terrible breakfast (not included)- no hot options- parking extra. The rooms are the smallest you will ever. And top things off next to a mousetrap bar. £160 wasted!!

    Excellent central location with available parking at a small charge. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and functional. However the hotel had all the charm of an east European hotel circa 1970. Rooms are tiny and cramped and only really suitable for an overnight stay. Having never stayed at another hotel in Villefranche I’ve no idea if our room rate of €70 was good value. Compared to other hotels I’ve stayed in other towns I’d say not.
