  Tiny room and bathroom, but ok for a night. The location was right and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was nice.

  So, let's start off with the bad. The bathroom is very small, it was a wet room. The shower felt very enclosed in and it wasn't that powerful. No Aircon in the room and staying there during the height of Summer doesn't make for a good pairing. Woke up both mornings very sweaty. The lift was very small, I only used it once.Onto the good, staff were exceptional. I mainly dealt with 1 guy over my 2 days there but he was brilliant and I regret not getting his name for this review. He was polite, engaging with perfect English, which helped as my French is basic/non existent. I asked him to book me a taxi and he didn't hesitate. Dark hair, brown eyes, in his 20s, he was great. It's in the perfect location for transport. A big train station a couple of minutes away. Same for a big bus station mixed with tram and metro station. Despite a load of people staying there at the same time, I didn't hear anyone else. I didn't have the breakfast so I can't comment on that. If it wasn't Summer and suffering with the heat it would've been nicer to stay there. Two star but I enjoyed my stay there.

  Well run and comfortable small hotel for short stopovers in Lyon.

  Intelligent use of storage spaces turned this small and modest hotel room into an ideal one or two night stopover in a convenient location. Everything was carefully thought out in both the bedroom and bathroom so you found places to put things, plug in things and hang things despite the size. A warm welcome, comfortable bed, good wifi and an excellent brasserie nearby. No kettle in room but drinks available downstairs.   We stayed at the hotel in December 2024 for a week. The room was quiet on the sixth floor overlooking the courtyard.Pros: Good location close to the bus and train station, metro. Good 24/7 desk service, helpful and friendly. Room service every day, the room was clean, good breakfast (but the same dishes every day).Cons: Noisy elevator, so you will hear it early in the morning.Need to know: Very cramped shower cubicle.In conclusion: for us the stay was quite good, many thanks to the staff.   Great place, great stay. Room 11 noisy though in terms of knocking or banging sounds. No idea what it was all night. Great place, will stay again in different room probably not on first floor.
