  Are staying 2 nights, leaving tomorrow. Made my way back to the hotel after a long day out and the room wasn't cleaned. Really noisy street outside and cars with loud music going around during hole night. There are holes in the bedsheets and some bloody spots from other guests. No cleaning of the bathroom. The good things are, ok beds - not to hard, not to soft, really close to the metro and the areas around with shopping and restaurants. Also good that I could check in early yesterday. Besides that I would not recommend this hotel. Pay just a little bit more and I believe your stay might be more pleasant.

  Whilst I totally understand you get what you pay for, this is pushing the limit on what should be provided. Luckily it was just me because the double room would have been a struggle for two people given the small size and literally no storage space. The continental breakfast is basic and I would suggest booking parking elsewhere because even if there are spaces available, the space is incredibly tight with only two spaces easily accessible. The reception desk is a sleeping duty overnight and a colleague who arrived at midnight had to persuade the reception staff to get out of bed to give him his room key.

  A pleasant surprise in Lyon!

  We had a very enjoyable stay in this very friendly hotel, smiley staff, professional, clean and a good location for us. A big plus was the parking at a very reasonable price! We would definitely recommend it to family and friends.   Beware if you think that this ranks with other Ibis Styles range hotels. It is a former Kyriad hotel that suffers from lack of investment. On the plus side, the breakfast area is good and the food on offer provides an excellent start to the day. The staff were great. The beds were comfortable. On the minus side the rooms are small and poorly furnished ( no bedside tables, only one chair between 2 of us..) The bathroom was modern but poorly ventilated and tiny. The underground parking was a nightmare. Getting our SUV into the small spaces was a challenge and getting from the car park up to the hotel was via a very dark spiral staircase. I found the experience really stressful and not worth the price we paid. Avoid.   In my opinionGOOD + very near the metro station 100m aprox+ tv, A/C, fast internet wifi+ elevator for 6 level building+ hair dryer in the bathroom+ very nice design+ Hot water comes after 10 seconds (and we stayed at the 6th floor)+ shower doors open very quiet, fast and precise+ lots of lights everywhere so you can see very good+ good breakfast (that is relative) but i think there is enough food: milk, soya milk, fruits already cut in glass, pancakes, butter, yogurt (3 kinds), fruits as they are, ham, eggs, cheese, cereals (corn flakes, granola, chocco pops), dry fruits, croasants, cakes, etc, coffe, there is even a machine that makes orange juice from fresh orangesGOOD/BAD+/- no ventilator in the bathroom (very quiet but also a bit of steam)+/-The reception works only from 7 until 22 o'clockBAD- no wardrobe, only some kind of hanger with coat hangers; it's ok if you are staying for a citybreak, but if you stay for a week or more there is not a lot of space (it depends of what kind of person you are, style, etc) - very used (hat is good and bad in the same time).
