    Stop Over

    Great place to stop on the way to the south coast of France. When we checked in the receptionist on duty was Florent such a charming accommodating young man and so helpful. We both had the fish of the day for dinner which was excellent served by a fantastic waitress.When we checked out Elsa very efficient and friendly. This is the second visit and would certainly stay again. Access to hotel from motorway is brilliant .

    Excellent Stopover Hotel

    I was surprised and disappointed to read some of the reviews for this hotel. Prior to our stay, I had to make some changes to an original booking for another hotel in the same Kyriad group. The English customer service number could not have been more helpful in changing my booking with a minimum of fuss (or expense). On arrival at the Kyriad Givors we received a very warm welcome with detailed explantactions from Elsa the receptionist. The room was clean and a good size. Decent bathroom with an excellent wet area. Temperature was good and no noise to disturb sleep. Very efficient and helpful waitress for an excellent evening meal. Comprehensive breakfast. Overall, excellent value for money; well worth considering for a midway stop if travelling from the UK to the South of France

    Not bad at all for a stop-over but a very basic hotel indeed but you would not expect more for €39. You need a code to get in after 11 pm and the internet does not work properly but the staff are friendly indeed. One night is good on a road trip!!!

    Worst Hotel I've Ever Stayed!

    Unfortunately, we had to stay at this hotel for 2 nights during our visit to Lyon. After visiting Italy and Switzerland hotels, we were also hoping to stay in a nice hotel. The location was out of city and we were anxious about the choice of our tour agency. However, we didn’t care about it as it was seen pretty next to a river. After we checked-in our room, the problems started. I realised that there was no enough space for extra bed. We requested another room, however all the rooms were at the similar sizes and any of them were proper for an extra bed. We had to accept the room. We were surprised when they told us that we had to open the extra bed. They do not prepare for you. Afterwards, I saw that the blanket was dirty and cigarette burns on it. I requested them to take this blanket and give me only a bed cover. They said me that there was no bed cover as the hotel was totally full. I informed them that one of the families had to return home and as their room was already paid, it should be empty. We went their room and saw that there was the bed cover I wanted. We brought it to our room. I was so angry that they didn’t tell me the truth. When I came back from second day tour, I realized that they took my bed cover. I called reception and requested the bed cover. However, the guy on the phone told me that there was no bed cover and I reminded my experience. He responded me saying that he is so busy and he can’t help me, then he hanged up the phone without listening my response. We had difficulties to sleep as there were small flies and insects on the ceiling. As my wife was very scared of it, I had to fight with it. But, I couldn’t do anything for the small files. Extra bed did not permit us to enter to bathroom without moving it as a result of lack of space. Blankets were dirty, kettle was rusty. It was a nightmare for us. It was the worst hotel I've ever seen. You can see the photos. Please be aware of this hotel. We changed a kettle, we tried to find a bigger room for you, we gave you the blanket from the next room after someone of your group screamed after the chambermaid.We received in a very short notice the informations (sometimes incorrect) about the needs of your group, and, if we probably didn't match all your exectations, my staff worked hard to organize the stay of your group, despite some lacks of respect for them.I really hope your onward journey has been good.Kind regards,QuentinDeputy General Manager

    Worst Hotel ever

    Room full of flies. Reception closed at 23.00. There was no one for help. No hygen. Dont you ever think of staying. We couldnt sleep til morning. Worst hotel ever. O couldnt believe that there is no one at the reception. They had been just closed the doors and left the hotel.
