    A wonderful experience staying here! The hotel is very modern and the room was very clean and everything was brand new. Super location, making it easy to get around. Metro was 3 min walk away. The staff were delightful, so helpful and welcoming. On top of this, the rate meant this was also extremely good value for money. Absolutely loved this hotel. Will be back!

    Worst hotel experience. No night stand. Completely not user friendly. Receptionist is clueless. The room is ridiculously small. I messaged them a week before to ask for 2 duvets but only one is there. When I asked she said she will do her best yet no duvet showed up at all. All around just really really awful hotel. Do not book it!!! Beware!!!     Book Maison No When Visiting Lyon

    Very nice boutique hotel in an excellent location in Lyon. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was modern and nice. The rooftop bar and restaurant are excellent for an afternoon apperitif , dinner or enjoying a beautiful Lyon evening.

    The hotel is very centrally situated, we had a 2 minutes walk to the Opera. The hotel is design oriented, but everything feels a little cold and technical solutions are sometimes quite odd, f.ex. it took us 2 minutes to find out where to put the room card to turn on the lights, or also the handling of the towel heater in the bath is very complicated. The room was small, the bed comfortable, but the bathroom floor was freezing cold. The rooftop breakfast area is quite nice, breakfast is good but heating was very low also here.

    On arrival I was met with a correct but very cold reception. I was informed that the restaurant and bar facilities were closed. When I pointed out that in the confirmation email I received gave the opening times etc I was curtly told that the information was available on their website and booking.com etc. Bravo. I had booked the hotel on the basis that these facilities were available. The hotel design is as some have already mentioned but in some instances has privileged design over practicality. On arrival in a dark room to see where the card must be inserted in a black slot to have lighting is a specific annoyance I came across. This required me to go down to reception and request instructions. I’ve seen a number of switches and locks in hotels over the years but this one got the better of me. I had seen the small blue light shining out of the black apparatus but in a dark room who could see the slot. A pity that the initial experience overshadowed the rest of my stay as for the rest of the personnel they were quite charming.
