    Pleased with our stay in this lovely historic hotel

    We were pleased with our stay in this delightful, historic building. The building itself has bags of character, and a large, beautiful, and quite private garden in the back. Our room was good-sized and clean, the bathroom was spotless and renovated with high spec fixtures. The shower was nice and hot, and had good pressure. Once inside the building, you can forget that you are right near the busy train terminal. They have soundproofed the rooms very well so it is very quiet. The breakfast was continental, but very well stocked with a variety of cakes, breads, cereal, fruits, yogurt, and boiled eggs. We enjoyed it. The staff were friendly and very helpful, recommending a restaurant next door for dinner. We would recommend going there as we had a very tasty meal, carefully prepared exactly as ordered, and well plated. The one thing we had trouble with was the wifi. It's shared, and the signal wasn't very strong. From experience, though, we realize it is difficult to provide high speed internet in such an old building. (Very thick walls, for starters...) The private, enclosed parking garage made up for that slight inconvenience. On-street parking is at a premium, so the 12 euros for the parking was well worth it. All in all, the place was just what we needed: Clean and quiet, with friendly people.

    Sadly we were both very unwell so had to stay an extra night. The staff were very accommodating And kind. We will return in the future to take advantage of the hospitality and area as we were unable to do so this time.

    Everything Fine, all very proper, very friendly people, Perfect Location, 24 Hours Service,Garage available for12€/night, very quiet, good windows, very comfortable beds, good breakfastwith localproducts,f.e. the eggs

    The room has to be improved. The desktop is very small and and lower level as usual. The bed is not so comfortable because it is not flat.The breakfast is sufficient because low variety and no hot dishes.

    I made a late booking and arrived at midnight. Friendly welcome in a charming hotel and very clean room. The building is charming with an old iron lift, a nice garden. The bathroom was perfectly clean.
