    It was a pretty decent hotel. It was clean (bar a bit of black in some corners), very comfy and big beds, great location, friendly staff and very good showers. I’d happily stay again.

    I first started going to this hotel in 2017 and every time since then, I've chosen them as a place to stay. The staff are friendly and helpful and my personal opinion is, in general, I would recommend a place like this to stay. If you go to a hotel where you have to eat out every day, that may work out expensive. Whereas, if you stay at a place like Residhotel, you still have the option to eat out, but you can also eat in your room. In general, it works out a cheaper place to stay with more freedom and comfort.

    Very convenient if you use Part Dieu train station. Clean, relatively spatious, the bathroom works well.Pleasant front desk people. Helpful.There is a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and utensilsplates, to do a bit of cooking. It was quiet. Worked excellent for me and I would stay there again.

    The hotel is a 10–15 minute walk from Part-Dieu Station. For the quickest route, exit at the back of the station (under construction), navigate through the crowds, and head toward the trams at Marius Vivier Merle Blvd. Turn left on Vivier Merle, and walk 7–10 minutes, passing Ibis Lyon Gare Part-Dieu, Rue Paul Bert, and Rue des Rancy.The rooms are basic. Mine had a clean, modern bathroom, A/C/Heater, a window that opens onto the boulevard, desk, large bed, and small kitchen area. It can get noisy in the hotel some nights, but it didn't keep me awake.Friendly staff and very reasonable rates.Pizzeria la Mama at the corner of Paul Bert has delicious food. Other restaurants are in nearby hotels, and at the station.

    We enjoyed our stay in Lyon at ResidHotel Part-Dieu. The staff were awfully nice: they allowed us to check in early and found us a room a ways from the elevator, to cut down on noise. Blvd Marius Vivier Merle is quite noisy, even late at night, so we recommend getting a room on the east side of the bldg if possible. A large office bldg on that side should effectively block train noise. The rooms have quite a useful small kitchen, with microwave, fridge, coffee maker and kettle. If you're visiting Lyon for the first time, we'd recommend exploring the Traboules, but not spending too much time (or money) on the "Bouchon" restaurants in Vieux Lyon. Look rather for the brasseries which are part of the Paul Bocuse society. Just north of the Part-Dieu station try Brasserie L'Est. And be sure to visit the Roman Theatre and the Gallo-Roman museum.
