We stayed here twice in Sept, once on our way to the South of France, and once on our way back.The rooms are simple but comfortable. On our return we booked one of the rooms downstairs with its own terrace, which gave us just that little extra.The restaurant only does a fixed 3-course menu which you have to book in advance, but the quality of the food is excellent, and prices are reasonable.Plenty of free parking and very nice and friendly service.Definitely recommend this hotel.

The entry was very nice, speaks good English. At first the hotel hotel looks a bit outdated but the rooms have received a facelift and are GOOD. The restaurant was good and the hospitality of the owner is at a high level. Chapeau!!I would come again and recommand this hotel to every one.

Very comfortable hotel. Excellent staff and great restaurant. A great choice for spending a few days or for a relaxing stop over during travel. Enjoyed the swimming pool. We really felt rested when we left!

Little bit of heaven in the Morgon Region

We stayed here over night on our way back to the UK from Saint-Maxime. Our host was very welcoming. The hotel is currently going through a refurbishment, but even so the room was well laid out, the bed very comfortable and the en-suite bathroom very nicely tiled out and with bath/shower. When finished there will be air con in the room as well. The evening meal in the restaurant was excellent, they even provided a chair for our friends small dog (the french don't mind dogs sitting at the table). Breakfast was also top knotch. The village itself (Villie-Morgon) has an open zoo (deer, different breeds of birds etc) that is open to walk around, play area for children and there is also the Caveau du Cru Morgon where a fine variety of wines can be tasted and purchased. Had the refurbishment been completed I would have given 5 stars

Room was very old, the toilet more so. Weird heating system in the toilet that you need to wind up. In any case this place was cheap and comes with free parking. So I guess nothing much to complain about. Great location just off the main square of Villie-Morgon too. Too far to walk but quick drive. Good if you are visiting wineries around the area. No elevators. Breakfast was good, worth having.
