  Con:got a room with a dirty floor & hair on the mattress cover. I shared the pictures with the receptionist who reacted promptly & professionally by switching my room. Pros: Breakfast was good enough & the staff was polite. Proximity to cruise terminal & mall.   Positives - Staff ok. Breakfast ok. 5 minutes to Metro station.Negatives - Filthy room. Hole in bathroom door. Hole bottom of bedroom door. Curtains filthy. Bathroom walls filthy. Room smelled of stale cigarette smoke. Corridor smelled of body odour. On arrival the stuffy room was like an oven, asked reception could they turn on aircon for a while and we were told no that it was winter! Room was on 7th floor with no shade from sunshine and it was 17°. Asked for another room and were told hotel was full. Could not open windows at bedtime to cool down due to outside street noise.   Don’t worry about the size of the rooms. The staff and location more than make up for it. The staff are helpful and friendly and offer good local advice. The breakfast has plenty of choice and is fresh.The best part of the hotel is it’s location to transport infrastructure, it’s brilliant.All in all a decent budget hotel worth its prices

  Central B&B with acceptable facilities

  This B&B is located in 'La Joliette' district.Vieux Port is accessible within 15 minutes by foot. The central station Saint Charles is about 15 minutes as well. Metro and Tram Station is in front of the B&B which is also convenient. Furthermore the Joliette shopping mall is within 5 minute walk with a stunning view.The reception is friendly and helpful; they speak English and they understand my basic French well. The rooms itself are quite small, we wished for separate beds. However they are put next to each other so it does not differ from a single bed. There is air conditioning, television, electric outlets and the bathroom is basic (no shower curtain). We have no on board safe. Rooms are accessible by a code instead of (key)cards.The breakfast costs EUR 8,50 per person and it is a typical French Breakfast. Furthermore services are quite limited, but is to be expected from a B&B.In overall great value B&B with great location, nothing outstanding however.   Great location its a budget hotel

  Arrived after a very long flight and layover and got the last room in the joint. We were on the first floor and were promised another room for our second night. There is a bar next door and it got a little loud but we were exhausted and so it was no issue. Room was clean and bed comfortable. It was a non smoking room with cigarette burns everywhere especially in the bathroom. No curtain on the shower which really would have helped. Didn't have breakfast but did park in the garage for an extra 15 euros a night. The garage is very small and hard to navigate. I had a small suv and was in a bit of a panic until the car was parked. I did a 123 point turn to get out. In all much of what was expected as its a budget hotel.
