The worst experience I have ever had at any hotel.

    rating23 Aug 2025

This is the worst experience I have ever had at any hotel. This is the first time I've stayed at this hotel with my family, the service at reception is the worst service I've ever received. We checked out today on the 24th of August 2025, and left our luggage there to return in the evening to collect it. The two girls working in the evening were very rude and very unhelpful. We asked them to help us book a taxi, they were very rude when they told us that we can book it ourselves. My daughter called the taxi company, the taxi company doesn't speak English. We asked both receptionists several times if they could just talk to the taxi company on our behalf since we cannot understand much French. They were very rude and kept saying no, then were quite racist when they asked if I could speak English or not, and if I couldn't, then my daughter who speaks English should talk to the taxi company. We both explained to them that it isn't an issue with our English, it's the fact that the taxi company only speaks French! We had called the taxi company in front of them, so they could clearly hear and understand this very well. When I asked for their names, they both said that they 'have no names'. I asked for their manager's name and if I could speak to their manager, but they said their manager is unavailable and just gave me an envelope. Afterwards, they even had the audacity to laugh and were talking poorly about us behind our backs. We have traveled to many different countries and many different places within France, and we have never been met with a service like this. Their behaviour was utterly unacceptable. This happened in the hotel lobby on the 24/08/2025 around 8.30pm. Furthermore, the room floor was dirty, and the bathroom door was unable to shut, it scraped and was stuck on the floor. We also requested multiple times that they change the bedsheets and covers several times, and they never did it until our last day there. This hotel could barely be considered a 3-star hotel, let alone a 4-star hotel. We were in room 406.I don't recommend that anyone stays at this hotel. We will definitely not return.

    Ideal spot and huge room

    rating08 Aug 2025

Enormous room with great air conditioning. There was a fridge and kettle in the room, which was a nice touch. Only a short walk to the Old Port with restaurants and things to see. Right next to a very historic spot with a museum and also near a mall if you need to buy any essentials. Good location because it’s quiet but everything is walkable (Le Panier, Vieux Port etc). Central location, perfect stay

    rating25 Jul 2025

We spent three nights in the wonderful city of Marseille. The hotel is in a very good location, close to the old port. There is also a small shopping mall just around the corner. The staff was very friendly. from reception to housekeeping. Minibar was stocked up every day. The (privilege) rooms are spacy, bathrooms have a rain shower. TV offers great variety of channels, the hotel Wifi is fast. Plenty of restaurants nearby, as well as public transport. Would always book again. All good until we tried to leave.

    rating30 Jun 2025

Pleasant room in a pleasant hotel nothing to complain about until the end!We arrived by car and I walked in to find out how to access the car park. Not easy, very long complicated explanation given which could easily have been simplified, but we managed. The car park is vast and very awkward to navigate to the correct yellow coloured zone which is exclusively used by the hotel. However the problem arose when we left. The receptionist did not ask if our car was in the car park for which we had paid her colleague 20 euros a day. We took our luggage packed the car and eventually found the exit. When we scanned our ticket at the barrier it required payment but since we had already paid the hotel we were not willing to pay again. After trying to summon help and creating a queue l left my husband, the driver in the car (no where to reverse out to) while I navigated my way back to the hotel - no easy task! 5+ minutes. The receptionist helpfully said “you should have asked us to validate your ticket” but I replied that I didn’t know that and no one had asked me. She LAUGHED and said “it is done now”. No, I did not thank her. In case management see this she had a round face with longish dark hair and white eye liner creating a little sort of arrow between her eye and her nose! Hope she hears about this. I was utterly livid and so should her boss be.

    Very good hotel...but

    rating05 Apr 2025

Very well situated. Staff was helpful. The room was of good size and a comfortable bed was provided along with a safe and a fridge. The door locked securely and was clean through out.The only downside was the bathroom sink and the shower. Water pressure was low and the basin was oddly placed.Breakfast was excellent but the bar could have used more oomph and style
