English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Services such as a baggage storage service and a safe ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions.     Despite selecting a room during online check in we were given another, 5th floor 511 which is big/king.We had robes & slippers, bedside water bottles replaced, and two free bar drinks.The two big widows double glazed but the traffic below was discernible. The little balcony not useable and window opening restricted.The big room with excellent king bed was great but a second armchair was needed.The bath/room was well fitted but so compact the open door got in the way.Breakfast was poorly managed, scrambled eggs taking ages to be refilled, and tables uncleared.We would have used the restaurant but it is closed Saturday & Sunday even in high season!Due to the length of the walk to the harbour we probably would not stay again.     Cautionary tale

    Dinner- my roommate was told the dining room opened at 7 pm. She retuned at 7 and was told the large group was at 7 pm and return at 8pm. The next night both of us went for dinner at 8pm. Guess what it opens at 7pm and no tables were available for hotel guests. Remedy- make a reservation.Calling a cab- upon leaving the last morning we asked the front desk clerk, N to call a cab. The driver came in to shake N’s hand and charged us 80 EUR0 . The usual fare is 40-45 EURO. Scammed. Remedy- call your own cab or book elsewhere.     Wonderful experience! We arrived early from Avignon, and the staff graciously stored our luggage until the room was ready. The lobby is very nice with lots of comfortable seating and complimentary pastries and beverage provided in the morning. The upgraded room was super, and the bed was very comfortable.
