    Boring not friendly

    The hotel is more than modest, the room is sparse, and the bar is empty. There is no air conditioning, no toiletries, and of course no bathrobes or slippers. Moreover, on March 15 you cannot get your room before 3 p.m., even though the hotel is practically empty.

    Lovely staff, but the whole hotel looks and feels unloved and is desperately in need of a refurb. The location is really good. A 5 minute bus ride from the Vieux Port. The rooms are really nice. Funnily enough my stay at the Sofitel next door also showed me another unloved hotel, and needing a major refurb.

    Amazing location, perfect to discover Marseille for the first time! Staff was nice and very helpful… they gave us great advice about where to visit during our trip. Food was amazing, as usual in France :) We also really appreciated the ecological commitment of Novotel (regarding water consumption reduction in the shower). Overall, would definitely recommend!!

    The location is about the only good thing.The rooms are very tired. The carpets are stained, the bathrooms scratched, paint peeling and tile grouting dirty.The room is very basic but it has a coffee machine (which is appreciated).The pool area is pleasant enough but everything in this hotel is old and needs refurbishing.Go somewhere else, eg Intercontinental or Les Bords.

    This Hotel is discussing, it’s dirty and old. The lobby is new don’t be fooled.! The air conditioning does not work the bathrooms are filthy, they have put new grout over mould. The beds are horrible and the pillows are like concrete. DO NOT STAY HERE.
