    OK Business Hotel. Walking distance to Pl de la Comedie

    OK business hotel on a safe area near the train station and walking distance to Pl. de la Comédie. Ok Check in, not so good check out. Room was clean, god size, and with no amenities. Comfortable bed, yes hairdryer, no mini bar, no complimentary water, room with good view obstructed by facade of the building. Tooth brush available in reception for purchase. Normal breakfast, medium quality and low in variety. OK Business hotel.     There were good points and bad points about this hotel. It is extremely well located (being just a few minutes walk from Gare Saint Roch and tram line) but more care and attention is needed in other areas. It is joined onto Hotel Belaroia and guests can use their facilities. Again, here, there are pros and cons. The bar mixes very good cocktails but the spa is extremely poor. I tried to book the steam and sauna room with a rude member of staff who informed me there were few slots and the slots they had available were for only 30 minutes. There were no slots whatsoever for massages. There was also a €30 charge for hotel guests!I specifically booked this hotel because there was a restaurant. This was closed on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Crazy! Breakfast was nice on the Monday of my stay but on Tuesday there was little food left. Four empty jam jars, little bread, ham, cheese, no apple or orange juice. My juice glass was chipped and quite sharp around the edges (see picture). The girl who was working in the breakfast room was on her own and rushed off her feet. Certainly a case of under-staffing.Some members of staff were very friendly but after asking a small, bearded member of staff on reception the cost of a taxi to the airport the reply was ‘I’ve no idea!’ A little training in customer relations needed here!Overall, an extremely well-located and relatively clean hotel but a lot more attention to detail is required! Our spa is available for our guests as well. You do have a 10% discount if you are a guest of the hotel and we feel sorry that you did not receive this information. Since the spa is quite popular, it can sometimes be difficult to find an available slot. We do have access to sauna/hammam for either 15 or 30 minutes. However, you also have the massage services that last longer.Our restaurant is closed on sundays and mondays. We feel sorry that you did not get the information about this as well !Furthermore, we are quite surprised to read that our staff did not appear friendly to you. Our team is usually friendly and warm with our guests and are here to guarantee the best experience possible.     Loaction of the hotel is great and generally modern and clean hotel.Air con was centrally controlled and was not on.     I changed my choice of hotel to this at the last minute and very pleased that I did. I messaged prior to arrival to let them know how early we would be arriving. I received a reply to let me know their check in times which I already knew but on our arrival our room was ready which was perfect. Room was great, location was great, staff were great and cleaner was fantastic too.
