  Hello, so I must say something about my stay. It was during the same days as the clients with the previous comment. They were the rudest family I've ever seen and I 've had my share of hotels in my life.First of all our stay was good, personnel impeccable, the rooms are old but that's alright. Breakfast is good and have a lot of options.You have a great view if you take a room with view Golf.The family that left the comment were complaining that there is no AC but it's 6°C outside during the night so I don't see the need of AC but heater instead which was present and good. There is 2 parking spot for handicapped at the Hotel and they chose the one with roots underneath. Please refer to picture for this one, there is free WiFi and they give it to you at Check-in. Karim was his name was very helpful specially when the kids of that family were playing and making a lot of noises in the gym which is at the first floor of the Hotel. No need to say that after dark, having children playing without supervision in a gym is not okay. We called the desk because of the noise, so to that I say why does me, a paying customer have to endure that like they said.Plus they asked for a 30 to 50% discount on the nights and free breakfast for 5, and a refund for the night before, I couldn't believe my ears and this was before the gym incident.They were "doctors" apparently because they said to Karim, I'm a doctor and you're ONLY a receptionist, who speaks like that to an employee even if you're a paying customer ? Shame on them.They didn't like the first night BUT decided to stay a second night anyway, why ?And I'm no French expert but "putanesque" doesn't exist.PS: Thank you Karim for recommending restaurants near the Hotel.   DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL EXCEPTIONALLY RUDE RECEPTIONIST KARIM Air conditioning, WiFi, staff unhelpful accessible parking

  We came to this hotel late at night the rooms were boiling hot so we turned on the air-conditioning; the rooms got hotter and hotter even when we turned it full on to the lowest temperature the thermostat in the room suggested that the temperature in the room at night was 25 °c ; in the morning we were told that the air-conditioning only worked to warm the rooms at this time of the year but we were not advised of it so we did not sleep a wink.WiFi was available but at huge expense; the first 10 minutes are free and then you have to pay €€€The Staff are very rude and unhelpful coming up and telling us that our children could not use the exercise equipment even there were no signs to state that is the case.KARIM one of the reception staff told his daughter who was eating with him in the restaurant which was closed as it was Sunday that he wanted to hit me I told him I would call the police when we came back down he had hidden his daughter in a back office At one point he told me to go back to my room I stated I was a paying guest and he was a receptionist and could not tell me what to doKARIM also denied that he could speak any English but spoke to us earlier clearly in EnglishThe staff also stated after our poor night's sleep we would get a free breakfast and a new member came up and told us that this was not the case having been told by the first member of staff that he could not leave his station!KARIM also told not to raise my voice but would not let me get a word in edgeways and explain the conversation we had had in the morning, he was one of the most rude people I have ever delt with!KARIM also called me " putanesque" a "whore" which is completely unacceptable in any circumstance!The toilet seat in our bedroom was broken.There was a thumb tack on the floor of my daughter's room which could have ended up in her foot!As you enter the hotel there is a trip hazard with a door stopper in the middle of the hall! The disabled parking is like a mountain range with the tarmac blistered and raised making it entirely unsuitable for a disabled person let alone an able bodied person, my husband tripped over it and it was very poorly illuminated.please see night time photos and day time photos attatched Please read other people's reviews which are on a similar vein. Hotel- cmanager, Owner at Hotel Golf Fontcaude, responded to this review Dear Guest,We are surprised and saddened to read your review and feel your claims are wholly untrue and unjustified.We are sorry your room temperature did not meet your expectations; the outside temperature during your stay was 7 degrees Celsius and our procedure is to activate our A/C from the middle of May onwards, nevertheless, we have noted your comment.However, regarding the rest of your comments, gyms are for adults to exercise and are not safe for children, especially if the children are screaming and behaving in a manner dangerous to themselves, not to mention the effect on other guests who are trying to use the equipment and the children have been left there alone.The toilet seat in your room was not broken when you arrived and we did change it as soon as it was. We also do not in any circumstance charge any guest for Wi-Fi.Furthermore, your unauthorised use of photographs of our receptionist posted on the internet is unacceptable and we reserve the right to sue such practices. Your remarks towards him are slanderous and baseless and we are truly shocked and angered by your claims.We invite any future guests to read the review provided by a different guest who was also staying with us at this time.   Very nice staff. Aging hotel. Correct pricing.

  Aging hotel but nice staff. We ended up getting pizza delivered so we could eat on the terrace. The receptionist offered us napkins as we didn’t get from the delivery guy. He was a very nice tall guy. Maybe hôtel could be a bit cleaner. There is a funny odor in the hallway. Was perfect for a night. Easy to park. Easy to order pizza for a fast meal during our road trip.   Poorly maintained Lavender

  Stayed 6 nights in an apartment at the 'Lavender' entrance which has no working lights outside and door closing mechanism is broken, so door wide open at all times. Central heating in spacious flat was not working and was never repaired so had to manage with a small electric heater. Place is quite run down and looks like its management has no intention or interest in maintaining it. Will not go back.

  We paid extra to overlook the golf course and have a higher quality apartment. It was disgusting toilet door broken, patio filthy cigarette stubs everywhere, walls dirty, no bed head so when I moved pillow the dirt on wall was awful. The whole place should never have been rented out just a disgrace. We tried to talk to manager but told he was not in and no one else we could see. We tried the next day same thing again we were given his personal email and he never replied to us. Stay away from this dirty hotel !!!
