  Ok for a short break however lots of road nice vehicles and revellers until the early hours. Rooms are very basic but functional, towels changed daily. Air con ok, obviously quite new. Handsoap & showergel provided. We had a deluxe room (slightly bigger than our friends rooms) and had a bed settee. Bathroom very small again, very basic yet functional. Brought our own kettle (a must), ample elec sockets, no voile or blinds so houses opposite can see straight in. BLANKETS not duvets - yuk. No hairdryer but hotel offered one to borrow. Lift only takes two slim people with one small case. Very convenient for walking up to main square, there are “rogues” about beware. One acquaintance had a bag stolen whilst on the bus. We used the tram system a few times, very good, but your tickets from a machine using bank card.

  Customer service falls short

  I have stayed here once before and had a pleasant experience, however this time the customer service and communication fell well short of my expectations. As per last time, I expected there would be somebody to let me in after midnight. However, five minutes before reception intended to close (23:55) they called me to enquire where I was. I was more than a 15 minute walk to the hotel and luckily I managed to stay home overnight with the friends I was with. No apology given as to the very short notice. After a first good stay I felt quite disappointed that the hotel didn’t communicate this at all and essentially I reserved a double room for nothing.

  I wasn’t expecting much for the price but such a great location, and excellent value for money. the best of all was the staff was absolutely lovely, helpful, friendly. gave us loads of tips on where to go and what to do. The room had what we needed.it was basic but we didn’t expect more. perhaps a kettle in the room would have been good but that’s because we are British :) Didn’t have the breakfast

  Again one of those places where I'd love to give half-star ratings (would give it a 3.5).The location is great, very close to the city center and some interesting places for food or drinks around. The staff was extremely friendly and provided us with recommendations about what to see during our stay (5 stars for the staff working there!).We booked the basic room so I knew a little what to expect. The room was small and basic and even though the mattress was comfortable, the bed itself needs some work (I think the mattress was a little too small so we hurt our legs a couple of times running into the corners of the bed). The bathroom was super tiny, even more than I expected. We had the courtyard "view" which I might have interpreted a little differently but be aware that you could basically see into another persons' room. Nonetheless, you can open the window and get a little fresh air.The walls are also not the greatest, they seem to be quite thin. We had no issues with the lift next to us (as others mentioned it was too loud) but a little noise in the hallway could very well be heard in the room. I'm not sure what the general price is in Montpellier city center, I personally think it was a little high for what you get (apart from the location). Generally, we were happy with our stay for a couple of nights, it was what I expected and it fit our purpose. Thank you :)

  Weekend in Montpelier

  I am not very happy about it. The good point is the location. It is in the city center. Just 2 mins from the main square, la Comedie. Not far from Museo Fabre. Pleanty of restaurants and places to eat. Quality/Price not happy. If i go back to montpelier i Will chose a different one. This does not mean i do not recomend. Maybe suitable for single or couple!
