  Good value but room had bed smoked in

  Our room was large with a fully kitted out kitchen. The room was clean but generally the whole place needs a freshen up. The bathroom was fine with a fairly good shower but again it was dated. The thing I didn’t like was the room smelt of stale cigarette smoke.   I travelled with my family( 2adults,2 young children) having received an email confirmation from the hotel saying we could check in early 8am-9am with no extra charges. We thought great.so booked the 1.30 am euro star. We arrived at 9am and were told we couldn’t check in until 11am and it was 12 euros. The staff were rude and unhelpful. I member of staff said they sent us an email stating the 11am checkin and charge. When I questioned it they denied sending the email of confirmation. We went round and round until they told us we had to go away till 11am. We had been travelling for 14hours and my children were shattered. We were refused access to the cafe and told to wait outside or go to a cafe, I rang the booking company who then rang the hotel manager. Who refused to let us off the 12euros due to their mistake. All three members of staff bare faced lied about sending us the confirmation email. Stating the booking company sent it. This is a lie as they were spoken to again by the booking company. This time they admitted their mistake in sending the email but still refused to honour the free parking.It’s an absolute disgrace. 2hrs of our holiday was upsetting and infuriating due to this. My children had to sleep on a park bench whilst we waited.We had to check in as we had no where else to go. The room is bare and old. Marks on the carpet, mould on the radiator and broken wood by the sink. The children’s beds were not made up either. I would advice no one to stay here.👎👎👎

  The only really positive thing that I can say about this hotel is that the reception staff are really nice and welcoming. The area is unpleasant with quite a few drunks in the street harassing passers by. The rooms are large and there is a kitchenette and small fridge but no coffee, tea, sugar or milk supplied which is unsatisfactory if you are only staying one night and don’t want to have to go to the supermarket down the road. There is a tram stop nearby (St George’s) Line 1 which takes you into the centre of town (2 stops) but there is construction work all around the hotel with trucks etc. and not conducive to a holiday vibe. Breakfast is very ordinary (we are a group of 26 and, although we had booked and paid for a full breakfast, we weren’t on their list so missed out big time). I would never stay in this hotel again and would not recommend it, especially to families with children. There is one washing machine and dryer available for a fee. Again, the only positive point is the friendly reception staff who are trying their best but the location of this hotel does not help.   Good place for overnight stop in Nancy

  Difficult to find apartments even with satnav; poor signage. Nice room, clean and comfortable beds. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Poor wifi connectivity in bedrooms. About 20 minutes walk from the old town and its attractions. Pubs and restaurants nearby. Parking under hotel; ask in reception for code and location.   Terrible stay

  When we arrived the receptionist spoke English very bad and barely understood. We had a problem because we had to pay with credit card, but we only had cash, because on booking.com there wasn't any information you had to pay with credit card.After 2 hours one of our friend payed for us with credit card and we arrived at our appartement. It smelled of ciggaretes and for the price we payed it was nothing special.The doors were hard to close and there was a little line which you could see inside the room. At night there was not any warm water when taking a shower, other guest were loud at night and knocking on our door (mostly Chinese people who were staying at the hotel).
