  Although the neighborhood is not dreamlike, it is close to the city center! It is new, clean, perfect! The reception is friendly and the breakfast is generously served. Nothing to complain about.   Clean but noisy on street

  The hotel is clean and probably recently renovated, but very noisy for rooms on street. How can we miss this essential element of sleep so much? Light pollution is also high, because the curtains are not blacking out enough. So disappointed despite a good potential.   Poor sleep quality, unfortunately

  The reviews of Ibis Nancy Stanilas were really good so I decided to book it for our 2-night stay. The location of the hotel is excellent - though it’s in the opposite part of the centre from the railway station, the distances are not that big.Our twin room was spacious and clean, but there were a few minuses. When we came in the room, it smellled very strongly of the same room scent/washing liquid as the whole lobby. Luckily the smell faded in our room during our stay - otherwise we probably couldn’t have stayed in the room because my husband is allergic to strong fragrancies. The bathroom was also big and there would have been space for shelves and hooks, but there were none, which pose logistic problems.The lift was broken during our stay, which turned out to be a blessing: when it was finally fixed, its noise could be heard loud and clear in our room on the second floor. Also the air conditioning was loud. As was the street below our window. So ear plugs are definitely needed unless you manage to get a quiet room.Breakfast was pretty good, with a variety of sweet and savoury items snd the staff were friendly.   Beautiful, new furniture in a big, quiet room. Only problem was it was a bit cold Bathroom is very big and modern. Reception staff is extremelly niceLocation of the hotel is great, 10 min to stanislas square, with a carrefour across the street.   The staff is super friendly and kind, careful to clients' needs. The location is perfect both for tourists getting there by plane/train and by car. Very quiet at night. The breakfast is abundant and rich.
