  The hotel is very well placed for major attractions and close to the tram network. There are also plenty of restaurants and cafes within easy walking distanceReasonably well equipped kitchen, though to be honest we only used the kettle.Two small downsides. There are no dedicated phone charging sockets only standard 2 pin ones and these are not easily accessible being at skirting board level and often under things The access key cards are the most unreliable ones I have ever come across, we had to have ours reset at least once a day.   Booked two double bed rooms 218 and 219. Simple design but very comfortable space for a short stay. Kitchenette has all necessary amenities. Good shower. Room was very warm during our stay and we only had the use of a fan. Room 218 had a drain smell at times. Overall I would recommend this accommodation for location especially. If I returned to Nantes I would stay here again.

  Great location. Everything we wanted to see was really close by.Apartment was clean and spacious. Had a kitchenette with microwave, coffee machine etc. Friendly staff on reception. We ware able to leave our luggage in a hold until we could check into our room. Highly recommend it.

  Intrusion of PrivacyOverall, we were OK with the hotel until one morning when someone knocked on the door. It was 9:30am on a Friday and we were not ready. Two staff asked if they could enter the room to count the towels and linen, "pour compter le linge". My wife was still in pyjamas, and we felt like a complete INTRUSION of our PRIVACY. They touched the bed linen with their hands, they looked around the room as if they were looking for something or if they were police. My regret was I should have asked for IDs before letting them in or call reception. Like I said, we were not quite awake, I wasn't ready for this, and this was so completely weird. It felt completely unnecessary. I have dual citizenship French and British, this wasn't a language problem. I can't imagine how someone who wouldn't speak French could process this situation. We have decided to never use this hotel group again as a result and waited over a month before writing this review.----The hotel replied my husband.We cannot accept all of their excuses For Intrusion of Privacy!1/ The hotel said, they posted a notice inside the lift. But we didn't see any notice - they can come into customers' rooms to check/ count a towel anytime.Normally, if you have a customer/ traveller, you will not read all notices inside a lift with some heavy suitcases.It seems the hotel just wants to find an excuse to deny their faults - 2 staff went to our room when we just woke up with our pyjamas at 9:30am.Also, it doesn't make sense. That's meant - the hotel staff can do anything they want that they can go to customer room anytime if they post any notice.They should inform all our customers when we check in face to face at the counter.Besides, we needed to use a card access the lift to go up. It's also very annoying as the cards didn't work a few times, so we needed to go back to a reception to refix our cards during 4 nights stay. If they really posted a notice - How can every customer can read this notice because we had the cards problems already ???2/ the hotel messages also make us feel more upset and disappointed.They told us, actually, 2 staff were a hotel director and reception manager who got into our room to count a towl at 9:30am. They didn't show us their staff card / ID. The didn't say they were a hotel director and receiption manager. I asked my friend who is working in one international brand hotel. She, this Nantes hotel made a big trouble and fault..So, it's not acceptable. Since a customer rents a room, a staff should not get into a customer room except a cleaner or having an emergency situation. We DID put a sign - DON'T DISTURB. 2 staff still knocked our door and they needed to go in.Honestly, they are a hotel director and receiption manager who should know more hotel rules than a junior staff.We cannot accept these kinds of excuses. We would not rent this brand of hotel anymore. Not Recommended.

  Ok but location for exploring Nantes not great

  First impression not great , in the middle of a industrial estate , Young guy in reception was lovely a credit to the hotel so helpful and friendly .Carpets sticky and there is a funky smell in the corridors . The apartment itself was clean and would have been great however we didn’t stay as the location was so much further away from the centre than we though . Our fault for not doing our research . I feel people may stay here long term , wasn’t what we wanted or expected
