    Avoid!!

    rating28 Jul 2025

Stayed for a night to get some rest and food for a long drive to southern Spain. I didn't notice that the restaurant is closed on a Sunday. There was no mention that the bar would also be closed and that the hotel would be completely unstaffed! This place is miles from anywhere, we had a 40km round trip to the nearest supermarket in Nantes to get some food and drink. The room was awful, the curtains were far too small for the windows so anyone could see in and there was no way to keep any light out in the morning. Despite it being effectively self catering, there were only paper cups and no fridge, Breakfast was edible but the bananas were way past their best and pretty much every tiny plate was chipped. The grass wasn't cut and it was generally in need of some TLC. I would avoid this place at all costs. I don't even know how it's classed as a hotel with no reception, bar or staff! I paid 107€ for the stay.

    Not family friendly

    rating28 Jul 2024

We booked a family room, beds were comfortable but it was cramped. The rooms were very clean but if you have mobility issues will have trouble getting in the shower. The food was good but there was no children's menu so my youngest grandson had chips . So if on a family trip avoid, great for couples. We have stayed in Logis before and this was disappointing.

A hidden gem of a restaurant

    rating31 May 2024

We booked this Logis hotel as we have used them in the past when in France and found them to be above average in value for money .However this particular one is a hidden gem. You could drive past at speed and all you might see is a cow on the gable end but if you were lucky enough to stay then you have access to their restaurant. Here you will experience local produce of the highest quality cooked to perfection. The menu is extensive and varied with ingredients that you may be surprised by. The service is nicely paced and attentive. The wine list extensive and of quality. Its no wonder its full.Don't drive by, we never will again when we are in the area and will always make a stopover to enjoy this experience again.

    =Very Disappointing=

    rating17 Oct 2021

The owner of the hotel and the staff were lovely and very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was very good and the food likewise. However, the hotel seemed to take great effort to show how the rooms were cleaned with some sort of 'ozone cleaning' to ensure against Covid. This is good. What was not good was the standard of the cleaning in general in the room. The carpet had dirt spots throughout and the decor was at best DIY gone wrong. Most disappointing of all was the complete lack of checks on Covid Vaccination passports. We were not asked at any stage about whether we had vaccination or not. Neither were we asked to wear a mask - which we did anyway. There was a large group at the hotel the evening we arrived attending some sort of day conference and the group were seated twelve to one table and about six to the other. No social distancing observed. The owner and one staff member never wore a mask - even when serving us dinner - though one waitress did have a disposable mask on anytime we saw her. Given the owner knew there would be a group that evening there should have been at least one more member of staff to serve. I waited so long to order a coffee and brandy that I finally gave up after almost 35 mins and went to the room. The room at €120 was way overpriced - especially at this time of year and given the low numbers staying. Total bill at over €220 was far too much. YEs, the food was very good but not that good. Sorry. Overall. I have to say we were very disappointed with our experience with Logis. Our first and, probably, our last stay at a Logis.

Excellent, friendly staff, wonderful food and good value

    rating07 Sept 2020

Our second visit. It's very conveniently located on the way to/from Cherbourg. Right off the motorway but we didn't hear any noise. Animal friendly. Nice room - maybe needed some repointing in the bath. Small private patio with table and chairs. The food was as good as we remembered and we enjoyed some excellent wine. The Menetou-Salon was particularly good. No ham available at breakfast but otherwise very good.
