  We chose to stay in an off-site apartment, which I believe was their suite. It has a nice location and the room was a bit more spacious. We also had a nice view. Sadly though, the bathroom was a bit cramped and small although the he staff were very nice.   Such a beautiful Hotel, location right on the waterfront, so we could walk everywhere. We loved the decor, had personality, rooms were stylish, and a good size, and the Staff friendly and helpful.   Attrractive hotel in a great location

  This is a lovely hotel in a very convenient location. Because it is so centrally located, I was able to return to my room to refresh as I wandered around on my one full day in Nantes. (It was the day after I arrived in France, and I was still a bit jet lagged.)The room was small but well maintained and decorated. Perhaps a little too decorated. There was so much filling up the small space, that the room was sometimes hard to navigate without moving items around.The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was nicely upgraded. The one thing that was lacking was natural light. I was in a room on a lower floor with a couple of narrow, curtained windows that looked out onto a small inner courtyard. It felt a bit like an interior cabin on a cruise ship. Maisons du Monde was a great find for a brief visit in Nantes. The location alone was perfect, but I especially appreciated the friendly and helpful staff.

  Brilliant location, well equipped suite

  Fabulous stay at apartment 'Marigold'. This is a hotel that has apartment suites in another building at Place Royale. We stayed in the 'Marigold' apartment which is a one bedroom place. There is a main room with sofa, dining table and kitchenette. Then a bedroom with bathroom off that room. All really well equipped. And a brilliant location, with a great view of Place Royale. For food and drink there are so many choices surrounding the apartment.Service from the aim hotel was brilliant. We were able to leave bags at reception until check in, they messaged us when it was ready early.   Nice hotel but had several issues

  We had a pleasant stay here this weekend. This hotel has a lot of potential but needs a few improvements.Positives first - it’s in a great location close to Place Graslin and excellent shopping. Lots of nice restaurants and bars nearby and only 15 mins walk to Ile de Nantes.Enjoyable breakfast - served in the space next to the lobby. Plentiful continental and pastries, and a lovely lady called Gabrielle making fresh eggs on request. Coffee machine and loose leaf Dammann Freres tea which you can make in pots.Our room on the top floor was small and cosy (it was one of the bigger rooms available) but well laid out with good storage.On the negatives - our room was not cleaned well, with sheets not changed at all during our stay. We also ran out of shower gel (the large bottle in the shower) which was almost empty when we checked in and had expected it to be changed but it wasn’t. The night staff helpfully found us a bottle.On our second night the air conditioning stopped working and we slept very badly. We told the reception staff on our way out who said they would check it but it still wasn’t working on our return. We called down and the staff immediately turned it on remotely. We were unhappy that they had turned it off as it was very warm in Nantes. The corridors are hot and stuffy and you notice the difference on entering your room.The room lighting also meant the only useable mirror was in the bathroom. The shower was also fairly weak but okay.Probably wouldn’t stay here again but if hotel management can rectify the above issues then it would be worth considering.
