Location

The hotel is situated in an ideal location on the banks of the Loire, in the heart of Ile de Nantes and a 3-minute drive or tram ride from Nantes city centre, the international congress centre and the SNCF railway station. Château Anne de Bretagne, Nantes Cathedral, Passage Pommeraye, Graslin Theatre and the Place Royale are all within a 5-minute drive of the hotel. Nantes Airport is approximately 10 km from the hotel.

Facility

4 junior suites, 4 suites and 104 double rooms are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by 2 lifts. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. A cloakroom, a baggage storage service and a safe are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel offers a number of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. Children can enjoy the playground. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room, a playroom and a library. Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. The rooms have a double bed and a sofa bed. Children's beds and extra beds can be requested for younger guests.     Family of 4 staying 3 nights. We were upgraded to a fabulous room (the Ouessant) on the 4th floor. The view over the river, with the city in the background, was amazing. The bed was very comfortable. The sofa bed was good too but only had a sheet and blanket. We could have asked for extra covers though!The room decor looked a little bit tired but honestly the view was so fab and our stay was very affordable so I'd rather have that then sparkling decor and a higher price tag. The staff were great, so helpful, kind and friendly without being overbearing.The breakfast was excellent. Varied, copious and good quality with something to suit every palate.The location was great too...there is a tram stop just outside (public transport is free at the weekends) and the centre is just a short walk across the bridge and past the hospital.I loved my stay and would thoroughly recommend the hotel. Thanks for a super time!

    Right on the river and not too far a walk from the Machines. The hotel had made an error when we arrived after our long drive so they had no room for us. After an hour wait at reception they had cleaned a recently checked-out room for us. Hotel and rooms in general are due some renovation.Parking isn't suitable for tall vehicles.

    We stayed for an Olympic weekend as a family of three. The staff were excellent: helpful, went out of their way, considerate, professional. The hotel is really well located. On the Loire, tram access to the city, free at weekends. We did not need the car but left it at the hotel, on the forecourt. Rooms were comfortable, breakfast was good. At weekends, the restaurant is otherwise closed.

    Easy find and convenient parking. Generally the hotel is “tired” and in need of some attention. Rooms could do with a refurb. Bed so close to the wall on one side a climb over the end of the bed is required. They don’t tell you when you book that the restaurant is closed at the weekend so we had to go out for dinner. When we returned there were people eating in the restaurant. The receptionist noticed my puzzled look and said it was room service. That didn’t make sense either! I have a suspicion that it could have staff having a meal. Suspicion only as I say. Either way it’s either closed or it’s not! Make up your minds.

    Good position overlooking the Loire with underground parking. A very pleasant welcome from very helpful checkin on a Sunday afternoon. Extremely helpful in finding a restaurant open on Mayday weekend.Room a good size with two seater couch. Clean stylish and modern with plenty of electrical sockets and shaver point in larger than average bathroom. Good strong shower. Powerful easy to use hairdryer.Breakfast well laid out with impressive choice. Excellent fluffy soft scrambled eggs. A very comfortable stay.
