    Dissapointed stay.I stayed at the hotel several nigths.There was in my room a bad smell coming from the toilet. I complain about it at the  reception and then they leave the window of my room open, but then mosquitos came into and byte me all over my body during night. So i kept the window close and live with the bad smelling toilet. There was noise from the celing, i could hear and feel  the guest steps of the room above me all the nigthsOne nigth i complained about it to the reception person and he managed the situation, but all the nigths there were noise Indeed the price was very high for the quality of the room. They say it is a 3 stars hotel but i would give it 2 stars Dissapointed stay. I would not recommend this hotel for long stays. Look for other hotels in Niza.     We had a very bad experience during our 4-night stay at Hotel Amaryllis in Nice.Our room was full of big mosquitoes. One of them bit our daughter near her eye, and her eye got swollen badly — she couldn’t even open it. The walls were dirty with blood stains from mosquitoes that other guests had killed. It was disgusting and showed very poor cleaning.The bed sheets were never changed during our stay. I had marked them to check, and every day they just made the bed with the same dirty sheets. That was very disappointing and unhygienic.On the last day, the elevator was broken. We had to carry our heavy 30kg suitcases down three floors by ourselves. No one from the hotel offered to help or assist us, even though we clearly needed help.We do not recommend this hotel and will definitely not return.     Do not stay here as a solo female traveller

    We were sent to this hotel after finding bed bug shells at the neighbouring Hotel Saint Gothard. On arrival we were asked if we had opened our luggage at the previous hotel. When we reached our room it was infested with mosquitoes and unclean, looking out on a rooftop covered in broken glass, garbage and building materials. Travelling alone with a special needs teen is fragile. When I went to the lobby to check out and seek a refund the night manager used obscene language and told us he was going to kick us into the street. My son and I left sobbing to seek another hotel at 11pm. Because of the vermin and lack of care for guests with especial contempt for women...Please avoid this property.     Great location and comfy rooms. The hotel is near train station, which is super convenient. Rooms are big, clean.

    The hotel is well located, right next to the train station, which makes it ideal for those traveling by train. The rooms are surprisingly large and spacious, offering a high level of comfort. Cleanliness is another strong point – housekeeping is done daily.The only downside was that the hotel felt old and not very stable, giving the impression that it might not hold up well in the event of an earthquake.     This little hotel is a stones throw from the main street that leads downtown the sea and to the tram stops. It is also about a 7-minute walk to the main train station.I would describe the room as similar to student accommodation A decent size, clean room with a very small bathroom. The all-important air-con and WiFi are included in the price.There is a hairdryer in the bathroom, but unless you are 6 foot plus, you can't see into the mirror. It was far too high for some strange reason!Reception staff were friendly and helpful.Unfortunately, there are only limited nono safe deposit boxes,so we didn't have one.There is an iron in reception that can be used.We had breakfast included in our room price. Not much choice, but OK. If you get the chance to add, I wouldn't bother and pop to a cafe instead.It is about a 20-minute walk to the sea front, but the tram stop isn't very far.Basic but tidy hotel.Had a little problem with a child who ran around upstairs. After an hour or so later in the evening, I mentioned to reception. The staff member popped up straight away and sorted the matter.Basic hotel, clean, friendly, and centrally located.
