Location

This aparthotel is located in central Nice, right next to the conference centre. There is a tram stop just outside the hotel and the beach and the city centre are approximately 4 km away. It is around 6 km to the Promenade des Anglais and roughly 2 km from Place Massena, Notre Dame Basilica and Nice TGV train station. Côte d'Azur International Airport is approximately 10 km from the hotel.

    Very disappointing

    Booked a twin room for myself and my child and paid in full in advance, after a long flight only a double room is left. It is not acceptable as I couldn't book this place on the first place if no twin room is available. My child and I are both light sleepers. There is no alternative provided by the hotel and it's late and my daughter is very exhausted.

    Was going to stay for one night, turned up to check in and they said that they haven't gotten my booking of a room and didn't have of the ones we were looking for available. The staff didn't even care that we didn't have any place for the night while we spent hours in their lobby contacting booking.com searching for a place to stay for the night. There were multiple people coming to the reception complaining that their booking were wrong as well. When we finally left to stay at another place, the guy in reception asked us if we wanted to cancel our booking with them, seems that they did find it but didn't tell us. No apology. No empathy. Would not recommend this place!

    If I could rate it with a 0 I would !!! I’m staying here with my friend for 2 months because we’re studying in nice and this is he school residence. We’ve been here for 5 weeks already complaining almost everyday and we STILL DONT HAVE AIR CONDITIONING. We’ve complained so many times and the MANAGER (older woman) IS SO RUDE. The rooms never get cleaned. The laundry machine NEVER works. The rooms are too small. We had one whole day without electricity in our room so we couldn’t even charge our phones nor see ANYTHING at night. The area is really bad too. I’d recommend you to stay elsewhere.

    If you're on a budget and content with simplicity, then this is your pad while visiting Nice. I stayed for 5 nights as a tourist and didn't place my expectations too high, so I was satisfied and spending little money fit my needs rather than staying at a fancy or luxurious hotel. Mind you: this is not a hotel so housekeeping (cleaning, change of sheets and towels) is done only once a week (or not at all if you stay for less). There was everything I needed in this small room: a comfy bed, a desk with chair and small TV (French channels only), a small wardrobe, shower with toilet and sink, small cooking facility (crockery, microwave, sink, stove), a small table. The cutlery was rather shabby and primitive though, and the bathroom smelly. The first three floors were under refurbishment so there is hope for improvement. I must say the staff is very friendly and helpful, always cheerful. I wanted a kettle as well as a a lid for the pot (it seems it was missing) and I was given both immediately upon request. What I liked most is that the Appart'City is located literally around the block of a main bus station hub, and just a minute walk from the metro station Vauban. Nice is not very large so you can cover most of it by foot. It took me a pleasant 25 min. stroll to the port and beach, and likewise to the town centre. I still found it expensive considering that I chose one of the cheaper options around this area... but that's France for you, and a tourist destination at the beginning of June, no less!

    Our reservation on arrival was not entirely correct but in the end it was resolved. At the hotel, I would expect a change of used towels, add toilet paper and take out the rubbish which did not happen. The hangers were missing. The hotel is a bit run-down. I would not recommend breakfast, it is very poor compared to previous years. The hotel is not entirely for romance but enough for an overnight stay.
