Location

This hotel is located in a residential area in the middle of a magnificently cultivated garden with beautiful flowers. The beach and the famous Promenade des Anglais are just 200 metres from the hotel and restaurants, bars and shops are also close at hand. The old town lies around 500 m away which also offers plenty of shopping opportunities and the train station as well as the Russian cathedral lies around 300 m away. In addition, the Matisse Museum is located less than 1 km from the hotel. Nice airport is around 5 km away.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1912. 5 single rooms and 53 double rooms are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a TV room.     While the hotel is a bit outdated and a modernisation could take place, we had a positive experience overall. The location is excellent, central but quiet, our room was clean and the check in went smoothly. I'd like to highlight how professional the trainee receptionist, Nicole was. She was extremely polite, kind and friendly.
