    Had an excellent 3 night stay here, Friday to Monday.Room was clean and spacious although a bit dated with limited storage space.Excellent breakfast offering with the added bonus of being available until 11am.Really well placed to access all that Nice has to offer.     Stayed 1 night close to the train station but also conveniently close to the town and beach by foot. Good comfy room and bed and an excellent complimentary breakfast make this hotel a great choice and excellent value for money.     Worst Hotel at the Nice Area

    The toilets and bathrooms in this hotel's rooms are the worst I've ever seen. The toilet and bidet are in separate areas. Hitting your foot on the raised area when entering the bathroom can ruin your vacation. There's no sound insulation; sounds from adjacent rooms and the hallway are completely audible in your room. There are huge gaps and cracks under the door, and the air conditioning doesn't work. The staff at reception (except the supervisor) are unhelpful and, on the contrary, try to make things more difficult for you. Don't let the hotel's name, location, room pictures and entrance decor fool you. You should think twice before booking. Don't waste your money just because it's a 4-star hotel; there are much better hotels in the area. This hotel absolutely does not deserve The Western Plus name and 4 stars.     I had such a great time at the Best Western Massena Nice during my 9 day stay. The staff could not have been more helpful and cheerful. Aside from the fact that the room and amenities were great, the hotel staff eagerly accommodated my requests regarding my dog, Marty. Their suggestions and assistance were always great. They followed up on requests, including when I asked to have my room cleaned earlier than the normal time. Centrally located. Relatively spacious room, and immaculate. Nicely decorated.
