    Fire trap

    Hotel is a fire trap. The rooms do not have smoke detectors. I brought it to the attention of the front desk and they told me only the hallways have smoke detectors. That must be a fire code violation . The first person I spoke to said the only reason a guest would ask is so they can smoke in the room. Outrageous. Christine Campanile Acropolis, General Manager at Campanile Nice Centre - Acropolis, responded to this review Dear guest,The safety of our customers is a top priority for us.Currently, the legislation in France does not require the presence of detectors in rooms. We have a fire safety system including ceiling detectors, hand-held detectors and fire extinguishers located in the corridors of each floors, as well as fire doors.The verification of our system is carried out every year by a specialized company, as well as by the town hall and the fire department. In addition, every year our staff receives training on fire hazards, the use of fire extinguishers and of course the evacuation protocol.The regulations may be different in other countries, but our fire safety system complies with the standards and the law in France.     Exceptionally clean but extremely small rooms!

    The hotel is super clean, very close to the Old Town of Nice and also the promenade, for its location I must say it was perfect. However, I was expecting the rooms to be small as I had read previous reviews before I booked it, but they really are exceptionally small, probably the smallest room I have ever stayed in, to walk between the beds you have to walk sideways. The AC was not working, I could see from the hole in the ceiling that they had been trying to fix this without success. For April it wasn't a huge problem but come the height of the summer season it would be. The breakfast is pretty basic but a plentiful supply. I would like to conclude on a positive note that the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke very good English.

    Quite well located simple accommodation. Helpful staff. Comfortable bed. Modern bathroom. My quite small room was OK for me but would struggle for 2. My friend had a room with a much bigger accessible bathroom with good facilities except it needed a shelf and towel rail. Coming maybe? If all you need is a comfy bed, WiFi, good shower etc then this fits the bill.

    Great if you can stand the building works

    Great location and staff but sadly opposite a huge building site where they start hammer drilling at 7.30am weekdays. If you have a room at the front of the hotel it's awful. That apart, breakfast is lovely - lots of fresh food and bread. Our room was very small but very clean. Would love to give more stars but the building noise is not good.

    Another great stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was smallish but freshly painted and modern bathroom. It was very clean. Yes the foyer is a little old fashioned but the breakfast room has recently been renovated and a good selection of food and pastries. Such a brilliant location for the park, bars, restaurants and not far from the marina either. Tram stop is round the corner so it’s ideal!
