Junior suites, 81 single rooms and 74 double rooms are located on 7 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out.     Stayed at Hôtel Aston La Scala and had a mixed experience. The highlights were definitely the excellent breakfast — a great variety and very good quality — and the unbeatable central location, which makes exploring Nice incredibly convenient. The rooftop terrace is also a standout feature, offering beautiful views that are perfect for relaxing.On the downside, the hotel feels quite dated and would benefit from renovation. While the rooms were fine for the promotional rate we paid, they definitely need upgrading to meet modern expectations.Overall, a good option for the price thanks to its location and key amenities, but don’t expect a modern or recently updated hotel.

    The location is super. The rest is mediocre.The room was too small even though we upgraded. A/C was off for the season which made the room temprature much too high.     You should have indicate on the site that the pool was under works because I booked the reservation knowing that it was a service part of my staying. I paid the full check but you still are defaulting towards me. How do you plan to make up? Thank you. I understand how disappointing that must have been given you booked with the pool in mind. Our pool is a seasonal unheated pool open from about mid-May to mid-October. The works were necessary to ensure safety and quality, but we should have communicated the situation more clearly. We would like to review your reservation and find an appropriate way to make up for the inconvenience, for example a voucher for a future stay.     We stay for 2 nights in this hotel for the Monaco tennis ,location is perfect for train station,the old town and bars and reasturants.most of the staff were happy and friendly.We stay in a comfort room , which was small and very dated. The room safe didn’t work but was fixed straight away ,The room was not cleaned properly dust under the chair and the inside wooden shutters were so dusty I would say they hadn’t been cleaned for a long time , I informed reception on our first morning and when we came home late in the evening they still hadn’t been cleaned we were leaving early the following morning which I reminded reception they were still not cleaned my husband is asthmatic so dust is a problem for his chest.Breakfast was lovely first morning but the second morning it was not so good ,Carpets in hallway were stained , the stairway we used to our room was dirty, Would I recommend this hotel No , it’s very dated and dirty. There are plenty of hotels in the area to choose from , I definitely wouldn’t stay here again .
