This hotel is located directly in the city centre just 10 m from the Old Town and around 50 m from the Acropolis congress centre and 200 m from the exhibition centres.Numerous shops, restaurants, bars and nightclubs as well as public transport connections are in the hotel’s immediate vicinity and within walking distance.The hotel is approximately 1.5 km from the sea.

Facility

42 rooms, including 7 single rooms and 30 double rooms, are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Complimentary newspapers are available. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony or terrace is a standard feature of some rooms. The rooms have a double bed and a sofa bed.     The hotel is excellent. In a great location. You can walk everywhere from there plenty places to eat right on the door step. The check in was smooth. A lovely man called David. With lots of knowledge and a great sense of humor. Had a superior room with big bathroom shower. Large bed comfortable. Telivision kettel and balcony. The hotel is spotless and clean. U can have a nice breakfast 7 till 10 am. The staff are lovely an a tentative. The bar is nice. a small lift to floors. Over all a great experience and knowledgable staff who have a wealth of knowledge about places to visit and eat. My rating 10 out of 10. Will definitely come back and stay. The last touch. Was offered a nice coffe while waiting for my taxi. James

    Fabulous small hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Clean rooms, lovely bathroom. Lots of choice at breakfast. Conveniently situated just round the corner from the tram stops and five minutes walk to the main square. Old town a ten minute walk at most. Would highly recommend.

    Absolutely loved this little gem of a hotel. Would book again. All the staff were so friendly & helpful. A list of the great things:7 min walk to tram station for the airport 12 min walk to old town16 min walk to promenade Plenty plug points for charging devices in the roomsComfortable bedsSpotlessly clean Great breakfast Happy to hold onto our luggage & offer a courtesy shower too Our family room had a great terrace too for enjoying the sunshine 1 thing could be improved, a mirror out side the bathroom, with all of us showering etc it made it difficult to do make up & hair with only 1 mirror in the bathroom

    Not Your Typical Review - Service Excellence

    This is a different review. My family and I had a reservation at the Hôtel Esprit d’Azur in July. Unfortunately, for reasons I sensed were very unusual, our confirmed booking was cancelled. We booked directly with the hotel and received confirmation. When we arrived at 20:30, we found that we had no reservation. Normally, that would merit a 1-star rating and an extremely negative review, but I chose to do the opposite. The situation was not ideal, but I believe it was not a typical event for the hotel. What they did to handle it is why I am writing this review. The management and owners went out of their way to correct the mistake. They even remained willing to make things right after I returned home. I give them five stars for that alone. It's easier to provide good service when everything runs smoothly. What matters to me is what happens when something goes wrong. Issues and mistakes happen; that is life. How they are addressed is what matters most, and the team at Hôtel Esprit d’Azur did everything—and more—to make it right.
