Location

Situated in the heart of Nice, in the shopping area of the French Riviera, this charming business hotel is a 2-minute walk from the Promenade des Anglais and the beaches, 10 minutes’ drive from the Nice Cote d'Azur airport and 25 minutes from Cannes and Monaco.

Facility

A pleasant ambience awaits guests in 3 junior suites, 23 suites and 26 apartments. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The apartment hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. There are a number of shops as well. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (for a fee). Rooms

Air conditioning, individually adjustable heating and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. In some rooms, a terrace provides additional space for relaxation. The rooms have a king-size bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. There is a fully-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, mini fridge, microwave, tea/coffee station and dishwasher. There is also an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi are provided as well. Slippers are included. The bathrooms have a shower, a bathtub and a bidet. A hairdryer and bathrobes are provided. As an extra convenience, bathrooms provide cosmetic products. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

The pool complex includes a children's swimming area and is ideal for working out or just relaxing. A terrace with sun loungers and parasols is available. After an eventful day, guests can work out and recharge in the gym. Various wellness options are available at the apartment hotel, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam, massage treatments and a solarium. A dance club and a casino are also options for entertainment.

    Good option if you want apartment facilities

    Just visited last night. I was in nice for a quick visit, I was told I was upgraded. It was nice surprise. It had apartmentFacilities like a microwave and fridge and cooker etc . Also very close to promenade. Lots of restaurants close by too.Tram from airport was easily accessible within 5 minutes walking. Walked to shopping centre and old town. Would consider staying again.

    Had a wonderful stay at Goldstar Apartments. Very helpful staff and apartment was spacious, had all the amenities we needed i.e. freezer compartment in fridge, tiny but effective kitchen and close to all we needed to see Nice. Brilliant new cafe/patisserie across the road - La Base 25 rue Meyerbeer for breakfast. Absolutely delightful staff so all in all we could do what we wanted, when we wanted. Everyone at Goldstar and La Base were absolutley delightful. The only issue we had was advice from various sources including Tourist Information as to whether buses, trams, trains were running on 1st May - Bank Holiday. Only the trains were running despite the assurance that trams would be running as well so just beware.

    Not even close to and one star hotel ,definitely not 4

    When I booked this so called 4 star hotel ,it was advertised as having a rooftop pool and garden ,a shuttle to and from airport, an onsite atm,when I got there none of these existed ,the staff were helpful ,but it isn't even a one star hotel ,more like a hostel rating ,the rooms although spacious ,were old and lots of midges in and around the room ,everything was dated and old ,on a plus side location was good ,but please be aware if you think you are booking a 4 star hotel ,this is most definitely not one,even if they are charging you for a 4 star hotel

    Not a good experience. No air conditioning at all and no WiFi. Both were not working. Had to sleep with windows open and mosquitoes. A fan was provided. Had to ask for everything. Coffee , towels etc.

    Stayed at the Goldstar for 3 nights in August. It was our first stay in Nice and we were pleased with the location to attractions and eateries.The room was clean and a reasonable size by European standards. The fact that it had small cooking facilities appealed to us but did not use them. The language barrier wasn't too bad and managed to get ourselves understood. Two mornings we went to the Best Western across the road for an excellent breakfast for 15 Euros each.The only negative part is having to be careful getting in and out of the bathtub to have a shower as it is a bit slippery.
