    Over the hills and far away!!!!

    Although no-one can accuse the Isidore hotel of being unfriendly or say that the adjoining restaurant is not great, the problem is the hotel's location is just not as described. It's about 8 miles from the centre of town, not the 3/4 miles that's described on booking web. That means you have to take the tram for 18 stops or walk through the less than glamorous Les Moulins to get there. It's up in the hills @ the very edge of Nice and is not even very near the airport, which is 4 miles away. The room was very basic, with no hairdryer or safe. I had to sign out early as it was so far from town, and pay for alternative accommodation.

    Although the room was clean, it was really small, we didn't even had the place to open our suitcase, so we had to put it on the bed, open it, then close and go over the suitcase while walking. Food however was fine. We probably wouldn't visit again.

    Good hotel for a one night stopover

    This hotel is in a suburb of Nice but is only 100 metres from the tram terminus. The hotel staff were all very friendly and there was a hotel car park which seemed quite secure. The room was small but very clean. Breakfast was good. Ideal for a one night stay and very easy to get to the airport without changing trams.

    Horrible place. Smallest possible room. Horrible shower with a plastic sheet.. looked like in a hostel or worse. Surely NOT for two people. Most space of the room takes the double bed. Almost no space to put here suitcase.Breakfast packet :-( only in the roomHighly unrecommended !!!

    The room that we were assigned in the back was quiet but very small. No place to open a suitcase except on top of the (very comfortable) bed. Had to run the water quite awhile before it was warm enough to shower. The shower cabin was one of those tin jobs with crackly folding doors: the don’t drop the soap kind mentioned earlier. The breakfast area was big and well laid out but quality of choices low: it cost €9.50 pp which wasn’t that bad. No gluten free choices. The petit déjeuner room was populated almost exclusively with single commercial travelers and in fact I think this particular Kyriad was perfect for one person occupancy. We paid either €85 or 89 for one pre flight stay which I would call a poor value. The NCE AIRPORT was a 15 min (very heavy traffic) drive where we handed over our car to a Blue Valet driver. Very good plan, that.Normally I love Kyriad hotels which are perfect for a late arrival overnight stay when en route to another destination: this Kyriad StadeNice, however, did not meet any of the standards of my earlier visits to various Kyriads. This place needs a complete makeover!
