Location

This hotel is ideally location in the city centre, just 5 minutes walk from Place Masséna. It lies within a short walk of a diversity of shopping and entertainment venues as well as the famous Promenade des Anglais and the nearest beach. It is 7 minutes to the casino and the railway station is a short, 10-minute walk away. The Musée Chagall can be reached on public transport in around 15 minutes.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1900. The hotel welcomes guests in a 4-storey building with a lift and 43 non-smoking rooms. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Services include a baggage storage service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (for a fee).     It is so far the worst I have ever stayed in !!! The rooms are extremely tiny and the shower box is so small that it was hard to get in and out of also there is a chance of falling or slipping!!!! Breakfast is poor and also the breakfast room is tiny and uncomfortable for breakfast because always full of people and it was hard to have breakfast comfortably.While eating and your mouth is full ,they come to ask your room number!!! One of the days of our stay, we entered the breakfast room and there were no plates on the table unless we asked. Very poor service!!!We had always to ask for toilet paper as the housekeeper did not leave any after cleaning up our room!! One of the days of our stay our room was not cleaned up until one in the afternoon and until we asked the housekeeper to do so ! The atmosphere , in general, is not that of a three -star hotel. The receptionist spoke very poor English that it was hard to know head or tail from his speech.I absolutely and definitely do not recommend this hotel !People on vacation should feel comfortable! Guests who need more space can request an upgrade depending on availability.For breakfast, we provide a wide variety for a three-star hotel: pastries, breads, eggs, cold cuts, cheeses, fresh items, fruits, sweet and savory choices, and both hot and cold drinks. The room number is requested because breakfast is not always included in every booking, and we need it for our records.When items run out, our team restocks them as soon as they can, which is what likely happened the day you did not find plates on the table.Housekeeping cleans all rooms every day between 10:00 and 15:00. If you wanted an earlier service, it simply needed to be requested at reception. Toilet paper is provided daily, so it seems an occasional oversight occurred, we are sorry for that.We also note your comment regarding communication with reception. Our staff does speak English, but we will review this internally.Regards,

    I booked this very last minute due to limited availability in the area. The location cannot be beat and the staff were friendly and helpful, but the teeny tiny room was run down and falling apart. I booked a bunk bed room because it was the only one left. Slept fine in it for 2 nights but sat on it gently once and the slats fully broke. I had to switch rooms because it wasn’t able to be slept in. Additionally, my toilet would flush infinitely. I hung up a towel and the hook fell off the wall. The showers are smaller than ones in an RV. There are no outlets next to the bed, which is pretty bad for a bunk bed situation of you’re on the top bunk. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.     I stayed two nights at The Nap and was very pleased with my experience! The room was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, perfect for relaxing after a busy day. The location is great with easy access to the main attractions. The breakfast was fresh, varied, and delicious. The staff was always friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back!     Excellent locatio, close to old town and shoping street. Train station is ten minutes walk so you can get easilly to oter towns. Tram to the airport is 3 minutes walk. Clean room and very helpful and friedlly staff. Breakfest is good, not variority of the food.
