Location

This popular hotel is situated in the centre, close to the main train stations. It offers numerous opportunities to explore Nice and the surrounding area.     Dirty, non trained, careless staff, very bad supervision. Poorly managed.

    I stayed at this hotel 2 nights in April 26. I was expecting a normal, decent 3 stars hotel, nothing more. Instead we found a dirty, badly supervised hotel. The staff in charge of the breakfast watch their phones while tables are dirty and full of dirty dishes, crumbs and used cups. There isn't enough cleaned cutlery for the guests, no clean mugs, food (yogurt, fruits) finishes and Is not replenished. Breakfast is a miserabile experience.The stairs are dirty and not hoovered. The windows overlooking the road and the train station are not sound proof, so you can hear the trains noise. They have no agreed tariffs with the car parking just on the other side of the road, that would be very convenient for their guests. When I told to the manager that the hotel is dirty and below acceptable, she said "we are fully booked" meaning they think It Is normal to offer guests a below acceptable service and cleanliness level when the hotel Is full; which in Nice happens most of the times, due to High touristic presence in town.In short: they have no clue now to rum a decente hotel, and for this reason I tend to think that their good reviews are fake or written by people that have no clue. , Directeur général at Hotel So’Co by HappyCulture, responded to this review Dear Mrs Ragonesi,As you know, we will adopt the same speech given answering to your email.First of all, we clarify the situation.Following your complain, we remind you, that when you downed to the reception, it was around 8:30 am.We are sorry if you found the common areas dirty at this time, but housekeepers start their day at 9am and all common areas, with stairs and lobby are cleaned at around 12am after breakfast service.About breakfast buffet, the team was consisted of 3 people in reason of the high activity. In fact, we were fully booked and students group just took the breakfast when you wanted to enjoy the buffet. Because of that, our team needed some time to clear the tables, wash the dishes and restock the buffet. It could take more or less 10-15 minutes for that. They runned everywhere to do the best for our guests, so they don't have any time to play with phones... We are sorry for your impatience.To continue, when the manager as well as the receptionist tried to discuss with you, you even didn't want to give the room number where you were staying. This behavior is also inappropriate, on your part as she wanted to bring you the most professional answer trying to understand your disapointment, nevertheless, you prefered to shout everywhere in the public area, by not even giving her the time to place a word...     I discovered this cozy and modern hotel in Nice and can only recommend it to all the travelers! Great atmosphere, perfect location in front of the train station , only 15 min walk to Promenade des Anglais ! All the commodities and restaurants are nearby.     Great boutique hotel with easy access to everything

    Lovely hotel which is 5 min walk from tram stops to beach or airport and right across the road from the train station.Lots of restaurants, cafes and shops within walking distance. Very nice staff who always welcomed us back whatever time we arrived - we were at the festival on Saturday so weren’t back til after Midnight!Hotel was very clean and bed very comfy.
