This charming, family-friendly hotel is situated a 2-minute walk from the beach. It is close to the Promenade des Anglais and the pedestrian area. The train station is about a 10-minute walk away, and Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport is approx. 3 km from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1890. 24 non-smoking rooms, including 2 junior suites and 4 double rooms, are located on 2 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A baggage storage service and a safe are available. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities.     Review of Hotel Rivoli NiceWe had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Rivoli in Nice. The hotel has a lovely old romantic style that really fits the atmosphere of the city. It feels charming and classic rather than modern and sterile, which we really appreciated.Even though our room faced the street, the noise from outside was surprisingly minimal, and it didn’t disturb our stay at all. The only real downside was the soundproofing between rooms. It was quite easy to hear the neighbors — sometimes you could almost follow their conversations, and even when they were using the bathroom. That was definitely the biggest drawback.Another small thing that would improve the room would be a small refrigerator.Otherwise, everything was excellent.Hotel: ★★★★★Staff: ★★★★★Breakfast buffet: ★★★★★Location: ★★★★★Overall, a very charming hotel with a fantastic location in Nice.

    Dont stay here during the winter season.

    Very small room (we booked a "superior"). First night we had no electricity, this was fixed the next day. There is no heating in the bathroom nor in the toilet and this is in january, it's so cold! The heating in the bedroom seemed to work well but when we arrived to the hotel after being out all day, it was turned of, so, chilly in the room too. Location is good and it's clean and tidy.

    Hotel Villa Rivoli has a timeless old style elegance, superb location - a short stroll to the promenade and city centre - with really lovely welcoming staff. Good value, clean and very homely. I would highly recommend it.

    Hotel offered me money back to remove bad reviews!

    BEWARE Hotel contacted me after my visit to offer payment to remove my bad review! We imagine they do the same for all bad reviews, which is why its mostly good reviews remaining on different review sites.Cannot recommend at all, half the rooms are a scam, do not look like photos at all, extremely noisy all day and night due to no sound proofing. The room we have the toilet was so close to the wall, the knees were against it.Very expensive for what it is, clean rooms but old dirty common areas, and breakfast was a real disappointment, cheap dry bread and cakes.
