Location

In the very heart of Nice, a few steps from Place Masséna and the famous Galeries Lafayette, this hotel is situated in an optimal position which allows guests to fully enjoy their stay on the Côte d'Azur. Place Masséna, planned with care for the environment, is the natural centre of Nice, near shops, the old town and beaches. Guests may reach the city centre, public transport, the train station and the tourist centre on foot. They will also find easy access to bars and discos. The Isola ski area can be reached in just over an hour's drive. The Côte d'Azur International Airport is located approximately 7 km from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 17 non-smoking rooms. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a drinks machine. Wireless internet access in public areas (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. Additional amenities include a TV room and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a transfer service, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service and a hotel shuttle bus. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. A balcony is among the standard features of some rooms. All rooms are carpeted and include a queen-sized bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator and a tea/coffee station. Other amenities available include a washing machine and an ironing set. A telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms include a hairdryer and are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

    Phenomenal experience, centrally located, great rooms!

    Our stay at the AMMI Lafayette has been phenomenal, I completely understand why it was rated 4.9 on google. Sebastian and the front desk staff are amazing and oh so hospitable. The king balcony suite was super spacious and clean. There are only 19 rooms in this mini hotel so the staff are very attentive. The design is fun and funky, very art deco-y. It’s perfectly central to all of the activities in Nice and in a great neighborhood. We will definitely be coming back here and sending all of our loved ones to this hotel!

    We stayed 3 nights in Nice and this hotel was perfect. The rooms are very small (as are all hotel rooms in Nice from my experience) but had everything needed. Hidden in a cupboard was a fridge, sink and small hob plus a kettle, toaster, filter coffee maker and a nespresso machine (coffee pods and milks were available free from reception). There was plenty of hanging space. There was plenty of hanging space and the beds were comfy with a choice of pillows. Air-conditioning was good. We had a lovely balcony overlooking a courtyard and it was very peaceful. It didn't get any sun which was perfect as it was so hot when we went. The hotel was about 10 mins walk from the old town and slightly less to the sea front.Breakfast was available if required for approx 10 euros. We didn't bother as like to do our own breakfast.     What a wonderful stay at Hotel Ammi Lafayette. We were instantly greeted with smiles and friendliness from Maria. She showed us to our room and how all the amenities worked. The room was a perfect size and very clean with all the necessary amenities (no oil, but that wasn’t a problem for us as we just bought some from a shop nearby). The hotel is eco friendly so had room cleaning options to save the environment which I thought was a great option and 24/7 support. It’s a great base for visiting other parts of the south of France with amazing transport links. Would highly recommend and i will be back! Thank you for an amazing stay!
