Location

This hotel is located directly in the city centre opposite a bar and within easy reach of shops and public transport. It is also just 800 m from the Old Town, where there are also plenty of shops, bars and nightclubs as well as the harbour. Riquier train station lies around half a km away, the main train station is around 1 km away along with the famous Promenade des Anglais as well as the beach. Nice airport is approximately 8 km from the hotel.

Facility

10 single rooms and 91 double rooms are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Services such as a baggage storage service and a safe ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access (for a fee) is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a TV room.     A clean facility that I wouldn’t call hotel

    I’ll start with the positives in this hotel. The hotel is clean and within walkable distance from the center. The housekeepers in this hotel are to be praised as they do an excellent job (in my professional opinion). Now this hotel has a majority of negative aspects… fist and most important this hotel violated my confidentiality and my right to privacy before I even arrived, without my consent they shared my personal details with third party companies (GDPR?). Second and also important a receptionist along with a lady that from what I could understand was a manager in the bar/restaurant (or at least sitting there and shouting to customers) ware extremely rude. For a recently renovated hotel it was sure poorly maintained as lamps ware not working in the room and the toilet seat was broken. Now the big issue was the breakfast.. i never seen in my entire carrier as a hospitality manager a smaller breakfast buffet (not even a buffet) everyday scrabbled eggs and bacon along with some cheese and cold cuts and the worst thing… ALWAYS EMPTY!     Such a cute little hotel, felt very safe as a solo traveller. Lovely staff and super welcoming. Comfortable rooms. 15 minute walk into old town.     A great stay, well located but a little away from the top tourist attractions

    A beautifully decorated, Californian themed hotel. The location is good for public transport. close to tram, buses and Nice Riquier train station, although it is a 15-20 minute walk to the Promenade de Anglais - not ideal if you prefer to be close to the beach. Staff were friendly; I did receive a message on the morning stating our room would be available earlier than our check-in time, only to find this wasn't the case when we arrived. Loved the little retro touches in our room. The door to (separate) toilet is opaque, but as there is another closing door between that and the main bedroom this wasn't an issue. Didn't notice any noise, even when the karaoke was going on on our first night (we were third floor).Only real negatives: we weren't able to just get a coffee from the bar in the morning; it was full breakfast or nothing so we found a boulangerie close by that would enable us to grab a coffee and a pastry for a few euros. We also found the service in the bar a little lacking; they also didn't inform us that they had stopped serving on the Sunday night, despite us sitting near the bar for 10 minutes. It's not a cheap stay, but we found very little that was in Nice. For that reason we found it to be a good base for our 3 night stay.     The hotel was nice & room comfortable & clean. Staff were very polite & friendly. The only issue for us was we would have preferred to be more central near the area of Promenade De Anglaise it was just a bit too far out we oftentimes took an Uber back as walking in the heat was difficult. The location seemed a little tired & not the nicest are of Ni e I e stayed in.
