    I wanted to book this hotel due to its proximity to the Palais des expositions, where an event that we needed to attend is going to be held. I checked online and they didn't have any availability, sonI rang them up. The lady who sounded like she was in a hurry initially told me that the reservation agent was not available and told me that they had no availability this evening without even asking for the dates I needed. I told her the dates and she told me there was still limited availability and asked me to send an email. Immediately after our conversation, I emailed them and was told that they didn't have availability for the dates requested. Such a waste of time due to incompetence. Next time, please inform your reception to double check the information.

    We recently spent four nights at the Novotel Nice Centre Vieux Nice, and overall, it served as a fantastic hub for our family's first real taste of the Côte d'Azur.Location, Location, LocationThe standout feature of this hotel is undoubtedly its location. If you are planning to explore beyond Nice, you couldn’t ask for a better spot.• Transport: It’s incredibly convenient for train travel, making day trips along the coast a breeze.• Old Nice: A very short, manageable walk for the kids to get into the heart of Vieux Nice, where we spent our evenings wandering the markets and grabbing gelato.Dining & BreakfastThe breakfast spread was impressive. There was plenty of variety to keep both an 8-year-old and a picky 5-year-old happy.• The Pros: High-quality options and a good mix of hot and cold items.• The Cons: It does get very hectic during peak morning hours. We noticed the staff struggled a bit to keep up with restocking certain items during the rushes, so maybe head down a little earlier if you want the full selection without the wait.The RoomsWe found the rooms to be perfectly acceptable for a family of four.• Space: Enough room to navigate without tripping over suitcases.• Condition: The decor is looking a little "tired" in certain spots—some scuffs on the walls and older fixtures—but it was purely aesthetic.     Was extremely disappointed with this hotel. Both myself and my daughter were on the 4th floor. Based on the images on the website, the room was so different. Dirty carpet and dirty. bathroom. My daughter has stayed at other Novotel hotels, so this was highly recommended. Something needs to be done about the cleanliness of the rooms. The reception area and the breakfast area downstairs was clean.
