Location

This beach hotel lies in a superb location beside the popular Promenade des Anglais and just across the road from the stunning beach. Public transport is conveniently located in the hotel's immediate vicinity. It is 10 min to the train station and 5 min to the airport by public transport. Shopping venues, bars, restaurants and nightclubs may all be found within the hotel's vicinity.

Facility

The hotel has 331 non-smoking rooms, which are located on 7 storeys and are reachable by lift. Staffed 24 hours a day, the reception desk makes check-in and check-out easy. Services such as a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for a fee. Further services include a car hire service, translation services, room service and a laundry service. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a projector. 12 conference rooms are available for lectures, presentations and meetings.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. Guests have a sea view from the balcony or terrace, which are standard amenities of some rooms. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed or a king-size bed. Children's beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe and a minibar are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. Further amenities include an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi are provided as well. A hairdryer and a vanity mirror are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

Guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in the outdoor pool area (for a fee). A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. A variety of refreshing drinks await guests at the pool bar. For those who wish to stay active while on holiday, the hotel offers beach volleyball. With diving or, for a fee, jet skiing, canoeing, sailing, catamaraning and kayaking available, fans of water sports have plenty of options to choose from. The fitness rooms are perfect for a comprehensive workout. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a steam bath and a hammam. Subject to charge: massage treatments.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a restaurant, a café and a bar. At breakfast, guests serve themselves at the generous buffet. Various dishes can be ordered à la carte for lunch and dinner. Diet meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. The hotel also offers special catering options.     The Radisson Blu, Nice is situated about 10 minutes in a taxi from the airport. It's not close to any of the lovely restaurants and bars in the main town of Nice. There are very little facilities close by therefore you need to take a taxi or use the tram to get around. The hotel is across the busy road from the beach which is a stone beach with their beach club which is open to the public. Guests at the hotel have no vantage at all as they are charged for entry at Euros 35 each a day. On one day there we were told the beach club was closing at 3 for a private function. The beach has a high shelf and it is not easy to get into the sea or back up the high mount to the seating area. On one occasion there was a digger moving stones around trying to flatten the top area, blasting fumes around the seating area much to the annoyance of the guests. Why this could not be done before the club opened it to be questioned.Hotel staff are abrupt and unhelpful. Any small requests such as can the mini fridge be repaired were met with arguments that "that's how they work". Maintenance did eventually attend and changed a part which did indeed make it cool as normal. On another occasion I asked to pay the bill in cash and was told this would affect the deposit already left on checkin and it would take a further 2 weeks to have that returned. Housekeeping was awful. Our room which cost over £300 a day room only, was left with dirty cups and glasses on a daily basis. Surfaces were marked and dust covered the floor under the desk. We had to ask for tea bags. The was only 1 restaurant for breakfast and the restaurant on the top floor was only open in th evening. . 2 bottles of water in the room were provided daily.The pool area is pleasant if somewhat tight on space considering the size of the hotel. Facilities are overall lacking. No bar except the pool bar. Drinks prices are high.The main lounge coffee area/ bar in the lobby area was closed. No reason given. The restaurant on the rooftop only opened in the evening. Would not stay here again. There are many hotels in Nice nearer to the main town. However the main reason is the total lack of facilities and poor customer service while we charged excessively for a very basic room.

    Unfriendly Beach Staff and Lack of Guest Care

    The staff at the beach area were extremely unfriendly and unhelpful, which significantly detracted from our experience.I was also very disappointed to discover that hotel guests are charged EUR 25 simply to obtain a towel and swim in front of the hotel. While I understand that this may be the standard charge for a day bed, I did not require a day bed—I only wanted a towel and a quick swim. Despite this, I was informed that the full EUR 25 per person fee would still apply.This feels like an unreasonable and excessive charge for hotel guests and gives the impression that the hotel is prioritising revenue generation over guest experience.I raised my concerns with the Operations Manager and specifically requested that the General Manager contact me to discuss the matter. Unfortunately, the General Manager never reached out. This lack of follow-up suggests a concerning disregard for guest feedback and customer relations.Overall, this experience left me with the impression that guest satisfaction is not a priority for the hotel, which is disappointing given the standards one would expect from an establishment of this calibre.

    We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights, firstly our room was not ready until 3:30 PM on the day of arrival.The daily housekeeping was very poor. The staff only emptied the trash and changed the towels. Even basic bathroom amenities were not replenished, and the floors and sinks were not cleaned properly.The hotel has a private beach, but guests are not allowed to use it unless they pay €25 per person. When we said we only wanted to access the sea, we were initially prevented from entering. After insisting, we were met with a rather rude attitude, including comments such as “Just don’t steal the towels.”Most of the reception staff were unfriendly, and even simple requests seemed to be treated as an inconvenience.Breakfast was exactly the same every single day, with no variety at all. The waiters cleaned the tables using napkins, which further highlighted the hotel’s overall hygiene issues.We wanted to order food by the pool, but the service was extremely slow—almost nonexistent at times—and we had to wait for long periods. The pool itself also appeared quite dirty.For most of our stay, the third elevator was out of service and was never repaired. As a result, we, along with many other guests, had to wait several minutes each time for an elevator.Overall, the hotel did not meet the standards expected for its category, mainly due to poor cleanliness, unfriendly service, and inadequate maintenance.     Had an amazing stay here when I visited Nice!Probably one of the best hotels in the city, location is perfect right alone the seafront.Bedrooms are large with a spectacular view of the sea, and the staff are very attentive.     Poor Customer Service

    Stayed at Raddidon Blu and had many issues, informed front of house and was given 2 x one night stay in standard room at any international Raddison hotel including tax with no expiry date but when I have tried to book the voucher isn’t recognised, have tried many times to get this resolved via email, phone calls etc. providing them with my voucher and correspondence but no one gets back to me, have spoken to Ameni Souissi Front of House Manager and seen that she replies to Reviews on trip advisor so 🤞 I get a response.
