Do NOT become a stupid tourist like us

    rating15 Mar 2026

DO NOT STAY HERE ! My wife invited me for a romantic week-end. Place was nasty ! Bad food. Nice pictures online. Hotel is ONE HOUR DRIVE FROM THE CITY CENTER of Nice. It is MOTEL Turned into hôtel. Very dusty - location on the crossroad of the freeway. HORRIBLE. Plage Le Temps d'un Eté, Propriétaire at Servotel Saint-Vincent, responded to this review Hello Sir,Your two reviews of our establishments are completely inappropriate and, above all, untrue. In one review, you mention a romantic weekend offered by your wife, while in the other you refer to a family holiday. Which is it?You also talk about the restaurant at our hotel during your weekend stay, even though it is closed every weekend. Therefore, you could not have eaten there during your “romantic weekend.”During that same weekend, you claim to have eaten “seafood” at our beach establishment which made your wife ill. However, we do not offer any seafood on our menu. This is quite puzzling. The photos of our hotel accurately reflect reality, as confirmed by all our guests, as well as the high standard of cleanliness maintained by our excellent housekeeping team, which leaves no trace of dust.Furthermore, the hotel is located 35 minutes from the city center by tram and 20 minutes by car. In cases of extreme traffic, it may take up to an hour, but this is beyond our control and is not typical on weekends. We therefore question whether you actually stayed with us, given the number of inaccuracies in such a short review. As for your statement, “do not become stupid tourists like us,” we believe you have described yourselves perfectly. If our “gangster restaurant” and “motel turned hotel” do not suit you, we kindly ask that you do not return.Kind regards.

    Scam not recommended at all

    rating05 Oct 2023

In all the hotel checkin is 2pm in this hotel is 4pm,we fully paid the amount by booking.com when we arrived we faced by very rude staff are room wasnt ready they asked for 100euros as a deposit ,the bathroom had issue ,end of the day when we checked out reception said we will refund your deposit by 2days ,now is 1month they still didnt refound my deposit, not recommend at all. SERVOTEL SAINT-VINCENT, Service clients/Réception at Servotel Saint-Vincent, responded to this review Dear Madam, Check-in is at 4pm but when you arrived at the hotel at 10am, we told you we would do our best to give you your room as soon as we could and that in the mean time, we could keep your suitcases at the Front Desk. We gave you towels so that you could go to the pool and enjoy the other common areas of the hotel. At the check-in, we asked you for a bank card as it is stated in the booking confirmation. We took a deposit of 100 € on this card for the guarantee of the room and the extras as we request for all of our guests. You signed the welcome register card on which it is written that our hotel has a non smoking policy. By signing, you agreed that the deposit would be used as a cleaning fee in case of non respect of the non smoking rule. You smoked in the room and because of the smell, we were not able to rent this room on the night after your departure. This is why your deposit was not given back. You called us and we explained it clearly and politely to you. You insulted us. We kept our calm even thought you had been rude and disrespectful with all of our staff during your stay and on the phone. We always try to satisfy our guests so we are sorry for you you didn't enjoy your time here.RegardsAdélaïde

    Lovely Hotel

    rating18 Sept 2023

Lovely hotel. Stayed for rugby match at stadium nearby. All staff were very friendly and welcoming. All very knowledgeable when asked anything about getting around.Very nicely decorated and relaxing. Pool area well looked after and very nice gym on the roof along with seating area.Would definitely consider staying here if visiting Nice again although it is not in main part. That said it was only a 40 minute tram journey away from the city centre.Ate one meal in the restaurant which was very nice.Thank you for nice stay SERVOTEL SAINT-VINCENT, Service clients/Réception at Servotel Saint-Vincent, responded to this review Dear Sir, We thank you very much for your stay in Servotel Saint Vincent**** and we are happy you enjoyed our hotel thanks to the friendliness of the staff, the facilities such as the pool and the gym, as well as the quality of the restaurant. We look forward to welcoming you again soon.Best regardsAdélaïde

    Lovely property-not for tourists

    rating15 Jul 2023

This was a lovely hotel which we selected because it has free parking. We also appreciated air conditioning, swimming pool/lovely outdoor area and bar, and helpful staff. Anne Joelle recommended for us a lovely restaurant and booked a reservation so the table was waiting when we arrived. Our first night there someone opened the door to our room in the middle of the night—-they left immediately—apparently there was some mistake with room designations. Also our safe was not operable inside the room. This left me feeling a bit uneasy in a foreign country in what was otherwise a lovely place. If you’re visiting Nice as a tourist, this spot is not close to the beach or any of the historic tourist areas. Nor was it close to the Chagall Museum. Our first day we had an unsuccessful expedition to the Chagall museum which we were unable to see because we had been unable to find a place to park. If we had had another day I bet we could have figured out public transit into the sights. We ate one meal at the hotel which was good but pricey. One salad and 2 entrees with one beer was about 90 Euros. At 25 Euros per person we opted not to have breakfast on the property. Dining areas were large, modern, clean, and mostly empty. Plage Le Temps d'un Eté, Service clients/Réception at Servotel Saint-Vincent, responded to this review Dear Sir, We thank you for choosing Servotel Saint-Vincent**** for your stay in Nice and we appreciate you took the time to leave us a review. We're happy to read you've enjoyed the facilities of our hotel, such as the parking, the pool, the bar, as well as our services and our team.As for the location, we're situated 15/20 minutes away from the city center by car but for next time, we recommend you take the tram that goes to the city, as the tram station is 100 meters away from our hotel. We're looking forward to welcoming you again and we wish you a good day.Best regardsAdélaïde

    BIG disappointment with this hotel.

    rating14 May 2023

We booked a room with a kingsize bed for 4 nights in this hotel at around 492 euro.We are a family of 2 adults and a child of 5 year old.The child is small and doesn't like to sleep alone. He sleeps in the middle. When we arrived in this hotel they said we had to take an extra room with a kingsize bed.It was not allowed for a small child to sleep with the parents. In the rest of the hotel world this would never be a problem. They drove or holiday cost up significantly with another 491 euro. They acted as if we were getting a big reduction while we checked afterwards and they just gave us the regular price. They didn't see this misunderstanding and didn't want to cancel the room and wanted to follow their standard procedures. There is a balance between company policy and customer service. I would say with this hotel it is not in favour of customer service.Avoid this hotel if you are a family with small child(ren). Plage Le Temps d'un Eté, Service clients/Réception at Servotel Saint-Vincent, responded to this review Dear Madam, We thank you for choosing our hotel for your stay in Nice and we are sincerely sorry your experience here was not as expected. However, you have booked a room for 2 adults and never mentionned that a child would be there. If you had noticed us that your kid was coming, we would have told you that our rooms do not fit 3 people for safety and insurance reasons. We would have recommended to book a Junior Suite that is perfect for 2 adults and 1 child as it is made for this purpose. He could have slept in the middle and it would have been in compliance with our rules. When you arrived at the hotel, all the Junior Suites were booked so we had no other choice than to add a room to your booking and we managed to give you connecting bedrooms. As for the price, we have not given you the regular price. The price for the room we added was 667€ and we asked you to pay 491€.Best regardsAdélaïde
