Location

This comfortable hotel is located in a quiet quarter, just a few minutes from the centre of Nice. The shops of the Promenade des Anglais beach promenade, the train station and the casinos are just 5 minutes away. The magnificent Old Town, with its abundance of endearing shops, is also close at hand.

Facility

15 suites and 113 double rooms are located on 8 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. A cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a newspaper stand. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, medical assistance, room service (for a fee), a laundry service, a hairdresser and a coin-operated laundry. Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony is among the standard features of some rooms. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed. Separate bedrooms are available. A safe and a minibar are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well.     We arrived at 11am on 13th March 2026. After an early flight from Edinburgh we were delighted to hear our room was ready. We had a room on 1st floor, 1st impressions corridor and room very dated and tired. However room was clean and beds were comfortable. Decent sized bathroom. Lovely fluffy towels. Free mini bar nice touch. We didn’t plan on spending much time in the room but if we were to return we would ask for a different room. It was just a bit rough and readyReception staff very friendly. Bar/restaurant staff were so friendly. Matteo referred to us as his Scottish friends which was lovely. We had drinks on the rooftop terrace in the afternoon. Nothing was too much trouble for Matteo and the other young lad who was on shift with him. Unfortunately I didn’t get his name but he was equally friendly and helpful. These 2 young lads are a credit to the hotel. We had great banter with them about the upcoming rugby games. And even bumped into the other lad in town and he stopped to say hello. Keep up the good work lads and you will both go far. Thank you for a lovely stay.Great location only 20 mins from the airport direct by tram. Less than 5 min walk from station to the hotel. Less than 5 minute walk to promenade. Great restaurants and bars in the local area.     Staying at the hotel next door, we enjoyed roof top drinks in the welcoming 8th floor bar of this hotel.Wines and beers with friends with panoramic views over night-time Nice on the clearest of evenings.     Convenient friendly and well run hotel.

    Great location, short tram journey from airport. Convenient for both tram and train. We arrived early but reception stored our bags and direct us to visit the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild. Our room was spacious, spotless clean, with a balcony with a restricted view of the sea. The roof top, pool, spa, bar and restaurant were all amazing. Too cold to swim but used the warm spa pool. The restaurant menu was limited - it was the off-season - but food and wine was more than adequate and reasonably priced. We were able to take the short train journey to both Cannes and Monaco which together with exploring Nice itself made a short break feel so much longer. The hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly, feeling like a real family hotel as opposed to a chain. We would happily return.     First off, this is a 3 star hotel masquerading as a 4 star hotel - purely because it has a rooftop pool and groundfloor spa. To manage expectations, the pool is tiny (it would fit two people swimming lengths, side by side) and the spa is a whirlpool and tiny hamman, with treatment room. My stay was okay but it was a 3 star experience and i had paid to treat myself. I stayed on fourth floor in a deluxe room. Corridor carpets are stained and the whole vibe is very dated. Carpets needed vacuuming in public bar area.The room was clean but furniture dated and chipped in places ie my wall above the tv, the skirting boards of bath all chipped, the wardrobe knobs loose, the bedside table drawers are fake. Bed matress was very comfortable, i slept well and no issues with air conditioning. Some of the pillows need renewing, I could feel the material in them balling bit i had a few of them so it was ok, it didnt impact my sleep. Free water and soft drinks replenished daily in fridge. Shower is tiny and I'm an average size IE/UK so if youre a bigger man/woman, it would be uncomfortably tight and you would gave trouble with the door and how it folds on to open/close it.. I didnt try the bath. It states hairdryer in room description - it wasn't. It was a hot air tube with no controls and little power, youd need to bring your own with you, it overheated and was too hot to hold - it was taking that long to blow (the air wasn't that hot, the plastic absorbed the heat first). And no iron in the room which was inconvenient. Even though breakfast was included in my stay, I only dined once. It was okay but my chair was rickety and wobbled. Definitely a 3 star breakfast in terms of offering and quality. The rooftop bar is excellent. Views are really pretty especially at sunset. The staff were accommodating. I didn't dine in the hotel for lunch or dinner, so many fab restaurants in the vicinity. Overall the location and rooftop bar are the standouts - if you're expecting a 4 star youll be disappointed and I left feeling I had overpaid by a third of what I paid, for what I got. Its an okay hotel, I wouldn't recommend it or stay there again as it didn't meet my expectations of what ii paid. If I had paid for a 3 star, it would get a 3 star rating. I paid for a 4 star so I'm rating it 2 stars.     Excellent stay in Nice

    We have just returned home from 11 nights in a deluxe room on the 7th floor, which we used to explore Nice and the surrounding Cote D'Azur region. Our room was very clean, comfortable, well equipped and spacious with a small terrace area with seating and from which you could see the sea. The staff and service were first class. The choice at breakfast, which is on the 8th floor with a view, was excellent with a wide selection of food, which was kept well stocked. Our only suggestion for breakfast would be to provide an extra coffee machine, or hot water dispenser.The hotel was very well located, only 5 minutes walk from the nearest tram stop and about 7 minutes walk to both the sea front in one direction and the railway station in the other. We travelled around the region, using the Pass Sud Azur explore transport pass, purchased on arrival at the airport, which gave us access to all the buses, trams and trains in the region.
