  Fabulous views!

  We chose this hotel for the views and we were not disappointed. Aside from the view, our room was very comfortable and the staff were great. Very well located; close to the old town, Cours Selaya and right on the Promenade des Anglais. We enjoyed people watching from our balcony, but would choose a higher floor next time as a fair bit of noise during the night/early morning.   Great View/Assistance Above & Beyond

  Unsurpassed views of Nice and its crescent beach, day and night. The Old Town with its narrow lanes, shops, restaurants, bakeries and public squares is just a short walk away. We were fortunate to be booked 4 nights in the hotel 's suite, enjoying the room's space and great views. Our luck took a bad turn on the third day when my wife had to be hospitalized. I cannot overemphasize how much Jennifer at the front desk helped, performing duties of both desk clerk and concierge. She found us the right hospital and arranged a ride there, extended our hotel stay 4 more nights, helped our close friends collect items for my wife from our hotel room so they could bring them to the hospital, confirmed wheelchair assistance for our flights going home, and set up our ride to the airport from the hotel. When Jennifer was not available, Clement helped. The staff in the breakfast room were very kind to me, which was very much appreciated given the stress I was under. It's a smallish hotel with a tiny slow elevator, but it provides views no other Nice lodging can, easy access to the beach, promenade, and Old Town, and it has a professional staff that extended kindnesses to my wife and me that we will never forget.   It was an amazing experience staying at Suisse. It is right beside the Old Town and next to the beach. Very central and everything is just a walk away.   The location and view here are great. Walking distance to the port and the old town.Rooms are clean and have fridge, desk and everything you need.Get one of the rooms with a balcony facing the Mediterranean, spectacular during the day and night.Staff are friendly and helpful.   Hotel Suisse is a disappointment

  Incredible view, but that’s the end of the good news. The hotel is old and not well maintained. The bathrooms are horrible both in space as well as cleanliness. The grout is coming out of the shower and the toilet is so close to the shower you can barely sit. There is an odd odor similar to sewage in both of our rooms. Hallways seem more appropriate in a hospital. The front staff are average at best and don’t seem to be willing to add to the experience. We have complained to our travel service that this hotel should not be a four star but a three star maximum. Significantly below the four star hotel we had in Paris and five star hotel we had in Avignon. All that said, the view of the Mediterranean is fantastic.
