    There's a difference between a good experience in a hotel and a truly memorable one. And that difference, when you've already got something good to begin with, is in the detail. I really liked this hotel. It's in a great position and the rooms are a proper size, with a fantastic view, and in mine, the bed was really comfortable. Now this sounds like a series of niggles, but the towels were clearly old and had seen better days. Likewise, poor location of plug sockets in the room. Light bulb missing in the bathroom, and no toiletries other than a squeezy soap bottle. And beaten-up looking coat hangers in the wardrobe. I know it's Beaulieu (v. posh for those who don't know it) but when you're paying north of 200 quid for a room, getting some simple details right would guarantee a memorable (and repeatable) experience.

    Excellent location, hotel nice and great breakfast but not included on booking.com so was charged at hotel. No kettle or ice machine, pool needs some coverage from street.

    Would definitely recommend, room clean and fully equipped. Staff couldn’t be more friendly or helpful. Lovely private pool. Amazing roof terrace with fantastic views. Hotel situated right on the marina but only a couple of minutes walk from the town centre with all the restaurants and bars you could need.

    Wonderful hotel, super friendly staff, great location, and all recommendations by the team were great. Picture attached is from their fifth floor deck, which is open for all hotel guests and provides a beautiful view of the area. If you’re feeling strong, need a good workout, check out CrossFit1543 around the corner

    A very cute hotel near the harbour and a beach. Loved the location, mostly very friendly staff and the ever so lovely views from our balconies. Had two rooms next to each other. The rooms were cleaned daily. Didn't use the hotel pool which was small yet seemed very clean. Really recommend this small and nice hotel.
